I'm a full time first year student here and the college makes you pay for a meal plan. I cant tell you the number of times I've been unable to eat at toas due to their food options not compatible with my diet (seems like they only have burgers on the weekend and everything else they serve runs out or might make you obese) waste of money 💰 if your trying to eat healthy most weekends I'm lucky if I eat twice due to this. For example this Sunday before finals week I was unable to eat besides a late lunch because they ran out of one item after the other so once again I am going to bed hungry because I'm not about to waste the cash I have on food after paying for the ridiculous meal plan they offer. The only plus side to the place are how sweet and nice the employees are. I would give the place less than a star if possible. To somewhere else to eat, take it from a student, not...
Read moreI'm not exactly sure why this is on Google as a restaurant. It's a college cafeteria on a college campus. No, you're not going to find five star, personal dining. They have to serve a population of 15000 students eating there 3 meals a day. For what it is, there are great options. Salad, burger, sandwich, stir fry, burritos, pizza, etc. As far as service? Not sure what there is to complain about as there is no service. You get your own food. You get your own drink. Hell, you put your plates on a conveyor belt yourself to get them washed. They've gotten way better over the years. Try coming here about 15 years ago and then complain about it today. You won't. Want to talk about attitude? Listen to some of the conversations of students inside Taos and you'll understand if not everyone's 100 percent happy all the time. It happens. But they...
Read morePretty bad when compared to other schools cafeterias. The food is edible, but you can tell every choice about the ingredients was to save money. With select times for the specials of the day, sometimes it's impossible to get anything but a hamburger or pizza dependent on your class schedule. In recent years the food has gotten so bad that they have required entering freshman to get the meal plan. With weird hours on weekends and being closed on holidays, sometimes students who have no where to go during these breaks simply won't get feed. If you have a late lab that goes until 8 o'clock you're also out of luck and will go hungry that night. Unfortunately there really is no alternative and they know it and hold it...
