I went in this afternoon to Panda on University. The place was empty and that was a plus. I noticed the new Fire Orange chicken and knew that would be one of my entrees along with the Beijing beef. As I was home, I tend to eat one entree then the next after, as I proceeded to eat the fire orange chicken, the texture didn’t seem right. I went and checked the meal after I turned on the lights (since I was watching a movie) and noticed the raw/undercooked chicken. I contacted Panda Express in regard to this incident after I got home from UC (as a precautionary) and the night manager made a report to speak with the day team since this occurred on their shift. The manager offered to make a fresh meal, but I declined since this is the second time this has happened from Panda Express, the first of which occurred in 2024. I tried giving this place a second chance and they failed. I will never return here. Please check your chicken orders, especially the bigger chunks of chicken.

Very rude employees. 1.5 hrs before closing time and only 3 dishes on the bar. I ordered and was told that I'd have to wait for the 3rd dish to be made. I said ok thinking they weren't going to make any extra, but I was wrong. They gave me 2 orders of old orange chicken and 1 of fresh, but then dumped a massive dish into serving bar. So why the hell didn't they give me all 3 fresh? Price was not worth it for the low quality food or service. It was my first time eating here so unfortunately it will also be my last time. So sad.

Went for lunch and the service and food were great. They had fresh entrees and rice. The employees were very friendly. This location is very convenient for visitors to NMSU and students/staff. It is part of the NMSU Barnes and Noble bookstore and parking is not an issue. The area is OK, not huge but the tables are comfortably spaced for a group of 4 or a solo dinner.

I ordered beef and broccoli with white rice. 93% was nothing but rice and the meat tasted like what I would get in a cheap frozen dinner. Lord knows, in between jobs or a job that didn't pay very well and since I couldn't afford to go to a Chinese restaurant, I bought cheap frozen Chinese dinners and yes‐---- the same nasty cheap cut of beef in the beef and broccoli was the same nasty meat tasting meat I got here. My grand niece she got a child's orange chwith the noodles and the chicken was so far more flavorful than the beef I got. That reminded why I stop going. Next time my grand niece wants to go there, getting me a child's to go, will receive almost the same amount of the chicken to match the ratio of white rice. I'm praying it's NOT any time soon that's he will want to go. Sad Panda Express that there are sssooo many things that hasn't changed including that nasty cheap beef you use. I have consumed so many beef courses over my 63 years of life and still have the tasbuds that can tell the difference of good meat from bad meat and you still don't pass what I had to pay. Could have gone to the steak house that is sssooo much closer to my home, paid a little extra for a small great steak, two sides with warm bread and butter. But, the grand niece wanted Chinese food. My great loss. If I have to take her again, again doing the child's to go with the orange chicken even though I really don't like orange chicken, but, it truly beats your steak and...

Food: Pretty good. Service: Slow, Slow,Slow. I came in on a weekday about 2:30 and there were almost 25 people ahead of me waiting in line. I wasn't seated at a table with my food until after 2:45. The cause of the wait was because only three employees were working; 1 cook, 1 server, 1 cashier. They were trying, but just could't keep up. This is a management problem; not scheduling enough employees to cover the lunch rush on a college campus. I can't agree with the other reviews here that knocked the quality of the food. I'm pretty sensitive to the presence of MSG and didn't feel there was an excessive amount of it. I think the biggest problem, and I have observed this in other Las Cruces restaurants, is the lack of training and supervision of employees and, this time, failure to have enough people on to cover a rush period. I've worked in food service and so have family members and I know there is pressure to keep costs down to pump up the bottom line. The best way to strike back if you've had bad food or service is to write to corporate and provide a detailed explanation, including time and location of your visit and why you came away with such a bad impression. You might even get a free meal out of it. If you don't hear back,...

The second time this has happened here. The first time, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But it's literally the same order and everything. I ordered 20 minutes ahead. Only 2 bowls. Got there in 10 min. Waited another 22 minutes. Mind you with my hunger toddler. Watched as 5 people walked away with their food along with 2 deliveries. Spoke with a girl who said she would check on my order. Never came back, just went to making plates for the people coming in. The reason was that the black pepper chicken was being made. Got home, and all that chicken that was just made was nothing but chewy fat. Gross. Then the other bowl with sweet fire chicken had a few pieces and nothing but rice. For being a location on campus for us students. The service sucks. You're always waiting on something to be made. The food never tastes the same, and the customer service is so so. No communication with customers. I ordered ahead of time for a reason. Not to wait a total of almost quite literally an hour. For food that's already made. Will not be coming back and do not recommend it until they have a second look at the team they...
