I ordered beef and broccoli with white rice. 93% was nothing but rice and the meat tasted like what I would get in a cheap frozen dinner. Lord knows, in between jobs or a job that didn't pay very well and since I couldn't afford to go to a Chinese restaurant, I bought cheap frozen Chinese dinners and yes‐---- the same nasty cheap cut of beef in the beef and broccoli was the same nasty meat tasting meat I got here. My grand niece she got a child's orange chwith the noodles and the chicken was so far more flavorful than the beef I got. That reminded why I stop going. Next time my grand niece wants to go there, getting me a child's to go, will receive almost the same amount of the chicken to match the ratio of white rice. I'm praying it's NOT any time soon that's he will want to go. Sad Panda Express that there are sssooo many things that hasn't changed including that nasty cheap beef you use. I have consumed so many beef courses over my 63 years of life and still have the tasbuds that can tell the difference of good meat from bad meat and you still don't pass what I had to pay. Could have gone to the steak house that is sssooo much closer to my home, paid a little extra for a small great steak, two sides with warm bread and butter. But, the grand niece wanted Chinese food. My great loss. If I have to take her again, again doing the child's to go with the orange chicken even though I really don't like orange chicken, but, it truly beats your steak and...
Read moreFood: Pretty good. Service: Slow, Slow,Slow. I came in on a weekday about 2:30 and there were almost 25 people ahead of me waiting in line. I wasn't seated at a table with my food until after 2:45. The cause of the wait was because only three employees were working; 1 cook, 1 server, 1 cashier. They were trying, but just could't keep up. This is a management problem; not scheduling enough employees to cover the lunch rush on a college campus. I can't agree with the other reviews here that knocked the quality of the food. I'm pretty sensitive to the presence of MSG and didn't feel there was an excessive amount of it. I think the biggest problem, and I have observed this in other Las Cruces restaurants, is the lack of training and supervision of employees and, this time, failure to have enough people on to cover a rush period. I've worked in food service and so have family members and I know there is pressure to keep costs down to pump up the bottom line. The best way to strike back if you've had bad food or service is to write to corporate and provide a detailed explanation, including time and location of your visit and why you came away with such a bad impression. You might even get a free meal out of it. If you don't hear back,...
Read moreThe second time this has happened here. The first time, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But it's literally the same order and everything. I ordered 20 minutes ahead. Only 2 bowls. Got there in 10 min. Waited another 22 minutes. Mind you with my hunger toddler. Watched as 5 people walked away with their food along with 2 deliveries. Spoke with a girl who said she would check on my order. Never came back, just went to making plates for the people coming in. The reason was that the black pepper chicken was being made. Got home, and all that chicken that was just made was nothing but chewy fat. Gross. Then the other bowl with sweet fire chicken had a few pieces and nothing but rice. For being a location on campus for us students. The service sucks. You're always waiting on something to be made. The food never tastes the same, and the customer service is so so. No communication with customers. I ordered ahead of time for a reason. Not to wait a total of almost quite literally an hour. For food that's already made. Will not be coming back and do not recommend it until they have a second look at the team they...
