Instructors always have a good attitude toward students and are always helpful. Instructors are certified black belts and are very knowledgeable about the techniques they are teaching. Lessons are made to be so that classes fun and engaging in order to facilitate learning. The instructors are kind and easy going toward students but also know how to be firm and disciplined. This is very helpful towards developing structure and discipline while having instructors that care about their students. Beside teaching martial arts, the staff is also very encouraging towards home and school life. Students are able to bring in their report cards and earn credits at the school. This system has helped students make remarkable improvements in student grades by keeping them motivated.

I absolutely love Maximum Martial Arts Center! Master Castillo and his fellow instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging, disciplined, and know how to lead their students towards excellence. The environment is perfect for all walks of life, from single people trying to get in better shape, to families looking to grow and learn self-defense together. I honestly don't think you'll find such a wonderful learning environment anywhere else.

Updated Review* I have been incredibly blessed to have known Master Castillo for 26 years. I started training when I was 7 years old when he was one of the younger instructors in my school and I have seen him grow into one of the most knowledgeable instructors around. Through my years of on-again off-again training (due to school, moving out of state and back again, life changes, etc.) he has always been understanding while still pushing me to be a better martial artist. His dedication to his family, both at home and in his school, is apparent and makes all the difference in creating an amazing learning environment. I love that he and his instructors give students room to grow and aren't constantly hovering over them. This fosters more independence and aids in students developing confidence in their own abilities.

Hey guys and girls, I've studied martial arts at a few different places in my life and I gotta tell you: I've never met a school Master who, despite his already incredible amount of knowledge, skill, and technique, continues to push as hard as Master Castillo does to keep improving on his own abilities. He truly sets the standard in my opinion for how a martial arts teacher should be. He is always willing to help his students individually or as a group to make sure that each student is learning to their full potential. Plus he's one of the nicest most respectful men you could meet, and an excellent roll model. He's also a combat veteran and an all around bad a**. Student leadership is encouraged and as a student progresses in their training they will be given the opportunity to develop those necessary leadership skills they need for even real world usage. The other black belts at the school also continue to show incredible passion about never slowing in their learning. They are also incredibly skilled and willing to help anyone who needs it.
