The Original Mesa Grille — Restaurant in New Mexico

Not sure how to explain this 🤔 but I'll try my best. The old place in the Santa Ana Casino to get something to eat is now gone and was replaced with area called the Choice. It's a food court area with multiple places to eat. Your choices are Chinese food, BBQ, Deli/sandwiches, pizza place and a place called Blue Plate Special which is similar to the older place where you can get burgers 🍔, chicken strips, Indian Tacos and other menu items. The ice cream that you were able to get from the older place is now gone. Yes, gone!!!! No more ice cream 😢!!! All those really affordable prices on the food is gone too. My wife and I ordered food from The Blue Plate Special place, I ordered the quarter pound green chili cheese burger and it does come with fries 🍟 and the wife ordered the Indian Taco. I also ordered the chicken stripes with fries for a shared appetizer. The chicken strips were dry and old, hated it. Fries were just okay. I did get onion rings with my burger and both of those were really good. The wife told me her Indian Taco was really good too 😋. Alot of the disappointment came from the old place not being there anymore then we got more disappointment because of the price increase. Please don't get me wrong the pricing wasn't drastically higher but it was a increase for something I wasn't impressed with. I know Santa Ana was thinking this would be an improvement but in my humble opinion less is more. I want the smaller place back. SMH, this is the new and improved 😤. Until next time people. Ok, went again bc we had company, then we ordered. Chinese, surely, it will be hot food since they have to cook it fresh? I thought anyway, NO!! IT WAS LUKEWARM AGAIN!! It's like they barely stirred the food on the stove for a Lil while, not long enough!! I got white rice, mom got noodles, BOTH COLD!!! WHY?! Seriously!! There was a table next to us, where the food was left there w/o eating it!! Bc it was freaking COLD!!! Come on SANTA ANA!!? DO BETTER!! For your community!! You have been supported this whole time.. DO THE RIGHT THING !! FIX IT!! I took a Pic of the food left behind. I also called to complain but was transferred to a voice mail!! Ok whatever!!

1st visit. In a while. We used to love the food here, now it's not so great. Last time we ate there we got the fish and chips special, using our food coupon we only pay like $9. For 2 people. Great deal!! Well, our food was luke warm like it had been sitting there for a while. Fries were cold, too!! I absolutely hate cold fries! We were so hungry that we ate it begrudgingly, no bueno! Bad stomach problems later that night, heart burn. I don't know why the food is cold as they are supposed to make it fresh when you order it. I think anyway. They used to take PRIDE in the food they served, but now, it's like they don't care! Won't be eating there again even with the great discount, ...

Two times since I said I would stop criticizing for 24 hours I did, first was just about 8 hours later when I did so about how un-photogenic I am, then later that day when I complained to a wait-staff on how rude the woman who was our waiter was (she slammed down two cups of water, two cups of Iced tea and first the saucer then the hot cup of coffee, practically tossed the saucerful of creamer upon the table from a 4" height distance to the table. She didn't bring us the silverware I asked for so I went to another table and grabbed some, when she saw what I did she immediately, again slammed down the replacement silverware at that table. As people were walking in she would lovingly say "Hi, everyone, have a seat, I'll be right with you!' I let the other waitress in on Graces shenanigans, who insisted I tell the on duty manager. I insisted I didn't want to. Grace was an Unapologetic Waitress, but she soon after, came around the corner and became the sickly nice fake outer shell of a hardened actress (its obvious she has done this before). I still left her the customary 20% tip, which she did not deserve, but being in the customer service industry since 1996 I was still forced to be a gentleman.#NeverAgain #SantaAnaStarCasino #Grace...
