We are full time RV’ers. Stayed at this park in 2020 and it was a great experience, so we wanted to stay again as our son lives in Albuquerque. In January 2021 I made reservations for a two week stay in October of 2021 (after the balloon festival was over). In August of 2021 we received a message from the park asking if we canceled our reservation, which we told them we definitely did not and we were assured our reservation would be held for us. On the Sunday prior to our arrival, I called to confirm our reservation and was told we were all set. We arrived at 3:00 pm Friday afternoon as the office man was locking the door to leave. My husband asked him to wait as we needed to check in and find out our site number. The guy was rude making a smart remark, pointed to after hours registration and walked away. Our registration information wasn’t there so my husband called after him. He came back and they both went into the office. About 5 minutes later my husband came out and waved me to come over. As I went inside he told me we did not have a reservation and the park was full. The man was very confrontational and kept saying he didn’t know what we expected him to do about it. He also kept telling us that the manager had left on June 2nd for a 2 week vacation to Yemen and never returned and he was stuck working everyday without a day off. Which had nothing to do with the current situation except maybe to explain why he was so angry, but really had nothing to do with us. He just kept getting angrier and more confrontational so I asked for our deposit back and he yelled that deposits are non refundable. I said considering the circumstances he definitely needed to return our deposit and he got absolutely livid and accused me of attacking him. When I tried to explain that I wasn’t attacking him he started screaming that I was and told me to get the hell out of the office. He did eventually give us the refund and we left, never...
Read moreI've seen other reviews that have said things like "the sites are so close together you can hear neighbor cough" (absolutely not true unless you and your neighbor were in pop-ups 9r tents) and such, including comments about other RVers making comments about where their dogs did their business on their own site, even though they picked it up. First off, there are signs literally everywhere saying to not let your pet do their business on any site. That's what the two dog parks are for. We were here for three months, now are back for a few more weeks. We've been RVing for over 25 years and except for a couple of luxury parks, this is probably one of the absolute best parks we've ever stayed in. Management is great (he even held a package for me for a month until we got back this 3-week visit), super nice & friendly. We have a 44' fifth wheel and have had absolutely zero issues getting in and out. All of our neighbors have polite and a lot recognize us from the dog parks and we know each other and our dogs' names. The park is tucked in in such a way that even though it's very near the intersection of two main highways, it's rare to hear traffic noise. The park is well-maintained and clean 24/7. I would highly recommend Stagecoach Stop for anyone planning to visit whether it's long-term or just...
Read moreWe had an unexpected breakdown in Albuquerque on our way to Michigan. We had to find an RV park in the late afternoon that could accommodate us for several days or more. Being right before the July 4th weekend, we were concerned that there wouldn't be availability anywhere.
We called Stagecoach Stop. They answered the phone right away and had a space available. They left an envelope in their late arrival box with our space # and map of the facility.
The next day we checked with them to see how long we could stay in that spot. He told us that spot was open for as long as we need it.
This is a very nice RV park with lots of amenities. They have 2 fenced off dog parks for your dog to do business, a pool, jacuzzi, showers, laundry room, exercise room, and even a mini movie theater.
The entire park is well maintained and it's very quiet here as it is far enough away from the highway so you don't hear traffic. There is also a great view of the Sandia Mountains.
I would highly recommend this park for anyone just passing thru for the night or someone wanting to stay longer while they are enjoying all that ABQ...
