The day after Jazz Fest ended we took a streetcar ride uptown on Carrollton. At lunchtime, C&L Restaurant popped up on Google Maps with good reviews. We got off at Hickory Street and walked about five short blocks. The working-class neighborhood, shabby in spots, is certainly not a usual tourist destination but we felt completely safe. I love it when they ask me will I have my usual in front of those I bring in. I feel...

I am beyond impressed with the food and the service and I would be here every day if I lived anywhere near. Everyone should be...
