Hooks Catching & Frying — Restaurant in New Orleans

I don't know what kind of voodoo that they are doing to the chicken gizzards...but keep putting the spell on me. The establishment is dominated by the looks of it with heavy foot traffic or uber like delivery services. Just the best...neighborhood is not the greatest but lately which one is?? Ask for the gizzards not to be fried too hard...last time I got some, they were fried aggressively. Crispy was not the word...crunchy take my fillings out was more like it...but you know what?? I still ate those bad boys. It was worth every dental visit since. Chicken sandwich was a winner as well...before you go - call and see if what you wanna order is still available..I didn't once... got dressed drove out there and they were out of chicken tenders to make the 🐔 sandwich----------know what???? ----------- DEPRESSING---------. If you haven't gotten your quota of deliciously fried food drop in....

This probably like my 15 th time ordering from them because I like their chicken. I always ordered through Uber eats. But they can’t get another penny out of me. Don’t get me wrong their very nice people. Very nice but the food getting worse and worse. I ordered a twenty piece nugget meal for my kids and it came full of white salt season on the entire plate it was even on the bread. The nuggets was nasty af the fries omg. The fries was horrible. Who eats soft limp fries ? Nobody. They tasted fake they barley had potato in them. This food tasted like it came out of a bag. And it was frozen. I had to eat some gum after eating it from the nasty old taste that was left in my mouth. I threw it out and am going to McDonald’s instead. $20 wasted. !!!!! Horrible experience and the guy was very rude. There was a HUGE cockroach on the floor. Well I ordered a Philly steak with shrimp. I was told to add shrimp it's $3.00. One side had 2 tiny grilled shrimp and the other side had 3 even tinier shrimps. I was not happy paying almost 15.00 for a sandwich and paying extra for 5 tiny shrimp so I asked where was the shrimp that I added to the sandwich and I told him that's it. So I stated I did not want the shrimp and to take it off and he replied that I wanted something for nothing. How? I paid $15 for a sandwich. So he said pay $3 more for another 5 shrimp.
