Manchu Kitchen — Restaurant in New Orleans

The food was ok but customer service sucked.They have big as cuff a schedule posted on the door showing opening hours and closing hours.Opening hours said 11:00am closing hours said 9pm.Ok I get there at about 11:10am hungry ready to order and eat.I notice a guy sitting on the ground in front of the store.The outer gate to the doors were open,lights on,cars parked in back insinuating workers are there,so I pull the handle and the actual doors are locked so I took another look at the schedule to assure I saw 11:00am.Then the guy says yea they was suppose to be open at 11 and I said that's what the sign says.So I dialed the number on the sign and went straight to voicemail.I wanted this food so bad I spent my entire lunch break outside the store waiting for them to open.Then when they opened I asked what happened to 11 and the response I received was well we open now u want to order or not.I was like wow,I only ordered because I had waited an hour already and I wanted that specific food for lunch.But the food was hot and fresh but the attitudes and late opening were unacceptable and I probly wont be going back there again.This was the Manchu on St.Bernard not on Claiborne...

Being from Houston, TX when you order shrimp fried rice, that's what you get. I did not open the rice until I arrived back at my sister's house. MY MISTAKE! To my surprise, I did not know what the small orange stuff was on top of the rice! I thought it was carrots at first. As I looked further, it appears they put dehydrated shrimp on top of the rice. Who does this at their price? The fried chicken was good. It was hot, crispy, seasoned well and not salty. I spent a total of $158.00 for 150 chicken wings and a large shrimp fried rice! I started to bring the rice back!! Come on Manchu, yall can do better with the shrimp...

I love the food. A must stop whenever I come to New Orleans (8months ago) This time I came here 2/20/22, the chicken wings were on point as usual, I ordered shrimp fried rice with it and received plain fried rice. I ordered the combination yakimein and received ham and chicken yakimein. If they didn't have all the ingredients advertised they should have said something and I would have ordered differently. You will lose customers if you don't correct this behavior. Consistency is key to...
