We ordered from here for lunch and we’re surprised with the poor quality and taste of everything. I ordered the quinoa kale salad with salmon and there was no kale, the lettuce was sparse and wilted, the quinoa was a gelatinous mash with little flavor. We ordered the avocado toast which turned out to be toast with the “idea of avocado” spread on top. The soups were ok but you could get the same quality form a grocery store can. The baguette was ok, but again low quality. The green beans were tasteless and overcooked but somehow still rubbery. Would not recommend.

Madeline’s used to be my go to place for breakfast. This particular one I used to really like going through. But here and other locations have changed their menu to where it’s not really enjoyable. We’re just $18. I got a scrambled egg three pieces of limpy microwave bacona potato thing that I couldn’t tell you what was. The two things that were good was the two little slices of Roma tomato and the croissant. I guess I will cross the Madeline’s of my breakfast menu. And that’s sad cause I used to really like them.

The place is cute but the food is gross. There soda machine only has very flat soda! The ice machine is broken - so they have to go to their freezer and get you ice (no clue how) and it melts the moment you put anything in it so you have to ask for more ice. The salads are warm and the sandwiches taste sour. Don’t go here just go the location in Metairie if your crazing this type of food.

The pastries looked really good in the case so I bought 6 pastries to go, 2 chocolate almond croissants, one strawberry Napolean, two praline cheesecakes, (one had a brown paper under it and the other had a white paper, and a crème brûlée. They put everything on the box behind the counter and took it from a different counter/fridge than what was showcased. Didn’t think anything of it. However, when I got home later and went to eat it, the chocolate almond croissants were super hard but the filling looked ok. I took a bite of it despite being hard. I spit it out immediately. That pastry was bad but nothing compared to the soggy AF strawberry Napolean. It looked off as if the sugar has started liquidating on the top. I took a bite and all I tasted was a sweet desert with a hint of dirt. It wasn’t dirt. When I opened it up, there was mold growing on the strawberries. Tried the praline cheesecake with the white paper. It was old. Nasty. Spit it out like I did the others. Tried the one with the brown paper and it was fresh. The cream brûlée was tasty and we had no issues with that one. I spent $35 on trash. I’m upset about it and I think they tossed whatever was to be thrown away on my box. I am upset about it. Not going there again. 4 out of 6 pastries were old and rotten. Absolutely horrible. I’ve had them in the past and they were fine. The last two times I’ve been, it’s like things have changed. They seem to no longer care about quality. Very...

Our first time at this establishment and having young children we thought nice sandwich and relax before heading home. We walk in and having no knowledge of this restaurant, looked around curiously wondering what their Protocol is. Finally a lady at the To-Go side said. Take a menu and pick a table. OK sure easy enough. I get myself 2 baby chairs and we sit down. Perusing the menu waiting to see if we will be helped. Nobody comes to us. My husband who has a mobility disability, goes up to the counter where he is blantely ignored as all the staff mysterious disappear. Two other patrons walk up and begin getting food. By watching their actions I say to my husband " I think it's cafeteria style". He proceeds to order our meals and we receive an eye roll when they had to cook a pizza for our 3 year. They ignored us, complained about having to clean up the floors. Nobody bothered to explain their restaurant and how about to order and constantly the staff disappear to the back. Never again will we come back. The food was bland. My sandwich bread was frozen. They tried to charge us for a bag of chips that was included with the kid meal. They never smiled or greeted and constantly rolled their eyes. The most annoying was they all seemed amused at our blank looks and curious glancing around, waiting for directions from them. Normally we go to Cibo up the street form here, next time we will stick to what establishment we know has...

I went to place a to go order for me and my two small children. I was in the middle of ordering and the counter person switched to another person and took their order and made their order.?! Then I said I was in the middle of ordering and she said he was there first. He wasn’t there first he walked in from outside the store while I was at the counter. I get home and find out one sandwich I asked to be warm wasn’t and both the kids meals were missing their side items. The general mood of the staff was just lazy. There was one kitchen guy sitting at a table, talking to himself. there were plenty of other people there that could’ve helped me too, but it was like only one person was dealing with the customers. I’ve been going to this place since it opened. The food is good. The service and the atmosphere are considerably worse. It’s sad too because the food can actually be good. They just don’t have the service to match. They do as little as possible and no one apologized when I called to tell him I didn’t get my sides. They just said well you can come back and get them. Great. I already knew that. I also had to call five times because no one was answering. And it’s not cause they were busy there were two people eating in there when I was there. this place that needs to be amped up and made great or closed. Mediocrity is not an option. Paying customers deserve better, so does the...
