I’ve never been let down by Laurel Street Bakery. The bagels are always delicious. Their sandwich menu is also worth a gander as well! I usually get the Brooklyn (pictured), but my partner and I have done the American breakfast sandwich and the Frenchie. All of which have been great! They have a great dark roast, which is my go to for most coffee. I can’t say much when it comes to other baked goods since I haven’t tried them, but they look tempting. I also enjoy the front seating! The bar along the windows adds a pleasant touch and really nice light.

Laurel Street Bakery has pleasant service and a massive menu. I ordered the roast beef with grilled onions and chips, and a latte. The roast beef sandwich was a bit too salty and the mustard is not a good match for this. But, past that, it was great. The latte was subpar. I would try other coffee items, just not a latte again. The location has a fee table to sit at and is very clean. I will return to Laurel Street Bakery and I do recommend it to others.

A great place! Cozy, clean and nice, with a nice exhibition of paintings. We got a very good coffee and milk, with the possibility to drink it in the cup and without using plastic. The french bagel was very good, I did not have time to take the picture .. Hahaha! I will be back, in my short vacation at Nola, in this place!

Warning, do not buy their products online and have them ship to your home! Laurel Street Bakery will NOT take accountability when delivery issues prevent your purchased goods reaching your requesting shipping address. I recently bought a King Cake online and paid for 2-day shipping, more than doubling the price of a King Cake at $50. A storm caused delays in shipping, which no one can predict, however it has now been 11 days after I ordered, and I still do not have the King Cake I paid for. I sent an email to LSB asking for an update and policy of the shipment is lost and got no reply. When I called them the first time, they had a recording that the storm had prevented shipments from arriving on time and to contact FedEx. I then called FedEx but was not able to locate or track my package. When I followed up with Laurel Street Bakery again via phone call, the employee who answered the call told me their policy was for customers to call FedEx and that they could not do anything for their customers, that as soon as FedEx picked it up, it was out of their hands. I mentioned that this was unprofessional, and although FedEx was responsible for the delay, LSB, was accountable for their products and satisfying their paying customers. I even mentioned that other local bakeries that are in NOLA were offering new products or refunds (yeah, I ordered multiple king cakes for my family). The woman I was speaking to said that my issue wasn’t their issue and they would do nothing to help me out. I then asked to speak to a manager or owner and was told that she couldn’t continue this conversation since there was a line in the store and then ended the conversation by hanging up on me. To me, during a time of worldwide uncertainty due to the global pandemic, I would think a small business would go the extra mile to serve their customers - that is why I was buying from them (as a former NOLA frequenter for business), supporting them. In today’s world we need to have some compassion...unfortunately Laurel Street Bakery does not when it comes to their out of state customers, this was shown today via their...

I rarely write bad reviews, but it was that bad. Aside from food that is just ok at best, the service was terrible. When it was my turn to order, the cashier said, "I think I messed up that last guy's order." I said, "Do you want me to go grab him for you? I can see where he's sitting." She said, "No, I wouldn't worry about it. He can figure it out when he gets his food." That red flag should have sent me away. Once I finally got my mediocre food, my order was wrong as well. I went up to the register and very politely told the cashier that I wasn't given two of the things I had ordered. The cashier rolled her eyes and started digging through the trash for my receipt, as though she didn't believe me--even though she had admitted to me that she messed up the last guy's order. When she finally found my receipt and realized that I was missing two items I had paid for, she asked one of the other workers to grab me those two items, but she was glaring at me as she did so. I wasn't upset that my order was messed up. I'm a reasonable person that understands stuff like that just happens. I also worked in a cafe, so I know these mistakes are sometimes not even anyone's fault. Still, it was ridiculous to act like it was somehow my fault, or like I shouldn't have asked for the...

My usual to-go order is either the Brooklyn bagel on sesame add bacon or the Classic with bacon on sesame. My Brooklyn bagel was so good this morning that it prompted me to call the location. However, I know they are busy fulfilling orders. So, this is the next better thing. My bagel was perfectly toasted. The cream cheese ratio was amazing (not skimpy at all). The ingredients were fresh and plentiful. It was like an overstuffed po-boy dressed. Courtney is next-level and remembers the repeat customer's names. Kerri (please forgive the spelling) is delightful. I feel secure when I see her there because I know my food will be delicious. The music is a vibe. Courtney has a beautiful singing voice and Kerri has a beautiful karaoke voice. I love and respect them both. The environment is what a New Orleans bakery should be. It is familiar, welcoming, and yummy. I almost forgot the complimentary, fruit-infused, water. I don't have any photos to share as my food usually doesn't last the duration of my brief commute to work. Thanks for all you do for the community...
