Ah, sì, as a 12-year Italian-trained chef, I can assure you I have dined upon only the finest pizza from Napoli to Palermo, from the cobbled streets of Rome to the hidden trattorias of Tuscany. And yet—mamma mia!—nothing, NOTHING, compares to the artistry, the sheer culinary divinity that is a Pizza Hut in this town.
The maestri pizzaioli—trained in the sacred art of dough-stretching by the ghost of Nonna Maria herself—have outdone even the legendary artisans of Altamura. The mozzarella? Hand-milked at dawn from a herd of cows who listen exclusively to Pavarotti. The sauce? A San Marzano symphony of basil-kissed, sun-blessed, hand-crushed tomatoes—each one caressed lovingly by a local signora who whispers sweet nothings to them.
And the crust? Ah! The crust! A golden, crispy, slightly charred masterpiece—surely, Michelangelo himself would weep at its perfection! I have searched the world over, from the vineyards of Tuscany to the back alleys of Manhattan, and nowhere—NOWHERE—have I found such a triumph of gastronomy.
If Da Vinci had painted a pizza, this would have been his Mona Lisa. Bravo,...
Read moreGot awful service from this place. I ordered a pizza to be delivered. After almost 2 hours of waiting (30 minutes passed the time it was supposed to arrive) I made numerous attempts to call. They all went straight to hold, and left me there. At one point I was on hold for over 10 minutes. They never picked up. Eventually a friend drove me to the store to pick it up. We were met with indifference. Without even an apology, they told me they only have one driver for delivery. I get that it's a tough situation to be in, buy their attitude about the whole situation was "just deal with it". They then proceeded to double charge my credit card, and I had to remind them to remove the charge that included a delivery fee. When they saw I didn't leave a tip (why would I, I got awful service and had to pick it up myself) their indifference turned to flat out rudeness, and the woman at the counter turned her back to me as I tried to talk to yet, and walked away. To top it all off, one of the pizzas I ordered was already starting to get cold.
Awful experience, awful pizza place, do not recommend ordering...
Read moreThis location and Tchoupitoulas are by far horrible. If you want dry pizza because it’s been in the oven too long visit those locations. My kids LOVEEE pizza from Pizza Hut, and literally every time I order from this location and tchoupitoulas they RARELY EAT IT. I even notice it doesn’t taste as good as the Vets location! It’s sad that I have to drive way to Metairie to get perfect baked cheesy pizza. I say all that to say, if you want pizza that’s baked to perfection, that when you bite into your pizza you can see the cheese coming from it - visit the location on Veterans.
Also, might I add it seems that your staff need to be retrained on the following:
Won’t be back to either locations, it’s literally a...
