I am never going back here! A staff I meant today was very rude! Look like they hire kids to work there! I called on the phone to place an order and she hang up on my face, I went in, placed an order and told her about the call and she went to the kitchen to stop them from making my order, came back to give me cash after I paid with my debit card! She said and I quote “you know what? We are not making your food anymore. I don’t even eat here cos they are dirty! Read moreNow see most people don't like to tell the truth...you shall get it from me...I've been going to Read Seafood back almost and maybe 20 years ago...now I don't know if it's the same people from then but the food is most definitely NOT the same...it's still good but NOT as good...come on now I love seafood and I used to hit Read Blvd. up at least twice a week or more and chill on the Lakefront and I'm from Picayune...to make a long story short...there poboys aren't as good and neither is the shrimp...hold up now it's still hittin...they need to juuust NOT cook there food so long and they'll be back to normal. Read moreThis place was nice but my only problem was that the kitchen crew don’t know what extra heavy mayonnaise means on a poboy. My second issue was the French bread was not like the old school French bread that everyone in New Orleans came up on. Could be a sign of the times. They were one of many seafood shops that had all the boiled seafood available but it was not kept warm. Nevertheless I will return and give them another try...
