Very rude and unprofessional. Business seems to be ran by kids instead of experienced staff members. My wife and I called to place an order and before we could say what we wanted we kept getting hung up on. So we decided to place the order in person. As I walked in i never got greeted. There were 2 different lines, 1 for boiled seafood and 1 for hot fried food. We wanted hot fried food which had virtually no line. As i attempted to place the order, right off the back I could tell I was being served by the same rude person that kept hanging up on us. I asked him "why did you keep hanging up on us?" His response was "we're busy and you were taking too long." He then told me "bye" and walked off. I left without losing my temper or causing an altercation. This is a Vietnamese owned business within a predominantly black community and these people gave me the feeling like they were doing me a favor by selling me food but that surely wouldn't be the case if everyone stopped buying from such a rude, unprofessional, and unsanitary establishment. Never will I spend my money at Cajun Seafood on Read Blvd. These people are rude and racist toward people...
Read moreBeen going here for 3 years. EVERYTHING is frozen and recooked. Crawfish may be fresh or frozen depending on the season. The lines are usually long, especially on Sundays. Ordering chicken takes forever. The seafood may be over-pounded, or weighted over the desired pound. Sometimes, there are bugs in the broccoli and rice. Workers aren't racist. They just don't like the customers they have to deal with; some customers don't even know the prices of things when it's right in front of them; other customers have attitude; few and rare customers are nice. In addition, their boss doesn't seem to even like her workers and give them a hard time as well( The boss is only nice to customers because all she cares about is the money). With that being said, it explains why the workers have attitude. Workers usually nice if customers are nice. If not, they're having a bad day. Overall, Crawfish still good if it's fresh, snowcrabs usually cold( or room temperature), shrimp pasta usually dry unless you asked them to mix it up, and everything is good regardless if...
Read moreI live in Tennessee now. But I used to purchase from here years ago when they first opened. Icame home to visit for Mardi Gras and decided to make a trip to purchase from them. I have to say that this restaurant really disappointed me. The quality of food and service has depreciated drastically. It's like they only care about making money now a days with inflated prices and selling food lacking of flavor and borderline spoiled. I was very disappointed that I waited for almost an hr to take home food that should have been thrown away instead of being reheated and sold as fresh. Shame on you guys for taking people's money and selling bad food. I had to throw away my food in order to avoid getting food poisoning. I spent almost $200 to feed my family and was super excited until I had to throw it all away bc they sold me bad food. I'll never purchase from them again. I suggest you drive 2 minutes further down the road to Read seafood instead of eating at this place....
