I've eaten here a few times in the last couple of months at the Magazine and State location. Parking is ok. The restaurant is clean and the staff (everytime), is friendly, helpful and polite. The first time I ate here with my girl (Babycakes) in December, I had an Italian Deli sandwich. It was very tasty! Crunchy, flavorful focaccia bread with quality ingredients of turkey, ham, pancetta, provolone cheese and dill aioli with a cold salad of cherry tomatoes, capers, fresh basil, red onions and olive oil. Sizewise, I would have liked a larger sandwich, but given the ingredients and price, I guess it was about right. Babycakes won the evening with an appetizer of Roasted Cauliflower with roasted garlic and a soft herbed goat cheese butter, and an Italian Salami salad of Mixed greens, marinated artichokes, red onions, roasted cherry tomatoes, capers and walnuts mixed with strips of hard salami, served with basil pesto vinaigrette. The appetizer was so good, Babycakes only gave me a bite and ate the rest herself (grrrr)! I enjoyed it so much, I came back for lunch the next day, and ordered the same app and salad for myself!! Delicious! Last week we returned, to find out the Roasted Cauliflower appetizer was seasonal and not offered at that time (darn it). I ordered a gumbo pizza. It was ok. I didn't like the Andouille sausage (kind of greasy) and pickled okra I felt didn't go with the pizza. Babycakes ordered a Eggplant Reginelli appetizer (Whole roasted eggplant with olive oil, fresh garlic and fontina, topped with a soft herbed goat cheese butter). It was just ok. She had the Italian Salami salad again. Note to Reginelli's: Get that Roasted Cauliflower on the...
Read moreI’m done with this place and will never ever ever eat there again. After 14 yrs of supporting this business and having food delivery service the last year I have had 3 bad experiences. I kept telling myself this is the last time I waste my money and I would order again and give in to support them again and be mad I wasted my money. It’s not just a fluke if the problem keeps consisting. The quality of service has declined too much and I will never give them another dollar. Save your time and eat somewhere else. The delivery service is border line scary, I’ve had food eaten before it arrives, I’ve had other peoples food delivered and upon calling it takes over an hour to resend my delivery (waiting over 2 hrs for dinner) this happened twice. I have had the food so hot it melted the styrofoam containers and my food was laced with toxic melted styrofoam ( the third time this happened I was done for good)!! They done care about delivery then they should just give it up. Some of us work long days and rely on deliveries for dinner some days. To have your food arrive with the wrong order, bites taken out of it, and the styrofoam containers melted is not how I like to have my dinner. Best of luck if you try to order delivery here. You’ll see what I...
Read moreIt had been years since I came here. I went on a week night with 4 kids. When the waitress first came to take our drinks order, we had to repeat it 3 or 4 times for her to get it right. It took 15 min. or so for us to get our drinks. Then she took the order, which was another challenge. 2 of the kids wanted spaghetti with meat balls, she kindly explained it didn't come with pasta, it was just the meat balls, but offered to bring a side of pasta to go with it. I thanked her for the suggestion. The food took a good 40 min. to start coming out, at that point it was only 1/2 of our order that was brought. When the rest of the food finally came out, it was luke warm and honestly not good. The side of pasta was covered with an Alfredo sauce, which defeated the purpose of eating it with meatballs. The dish of tortellini I ordered was soaked in olive oil. All in all it was not a good meal nor a good experience. I found the restaurant was rather dirty and had seen better days. I will never go back. Such a shame, this could be a great spot for a...
