I absolutely adore this piece of New Orleans culture. I've heard of the skeleton house before, and seen plenty of pictures but it's not the same as going in person. After riding past on the streetcar several times, I hopped off for a closer look and proceeded to laugh until I cried.
They seem to have more skeletons every year, and definitely new jokes although you'd think they'd run out by now. The whole thing is just delightful good fun, and I look forward to seeing what next year brings as well.
