Three Palms Bar and Grill — Restaurant in New Orleans

They said they have no gumbo.....then apparently if you leave a review you will be confronted about it by I guess the owner.. !!hey..no one downed the restaurant with negative comments I'm not to be villianized because you think everyone should feel bad for any comment all I said was you have no gumbo which you don't and that you get approached at the register about a less than 3 star review if I had put 3 instead of 2 things would be different but after all this I can give it a 1 star it is my right Since I'm some bad guy for stating my opinion and I'm surprised how you the owner really decided to handle this whole commenting process. When people rate you it is not just based on what the food taste like it's there overall experience As the owner you will defend approaching a paying customer if they post something less than what you want just to keep your rating up?...ok that's fine your choice and the no gumbo comment was mine.. There was never any banking issue until I posted the review about the gumbo but you can tell me to contact my bank when I still used that same way of payment to pay you just not by your employees hand or register..a coincidence. Again not downing the restaurant itself I then was merely commenting the professionalism of whoever approached her about my review. I'm just a person who goes to NOLA quite often and it's my choice to say that was my first and last time to come to your restaurant/bar and definitely wouldn't come back because I'm being told what to write and how to write it. Obviously attacking me makes me wonder what exactly you consider a negative comment what I originally said hurt no one and then I messaged the bar which was not public so you can say what you want to argue with me after you still took my money that I'm posting negative comments which is just not true. Tired of the same old service. I only come because my friends like the atmosphere but if I wanted to wait an hour for food I'd go to BK right up the street. The bartenders are too busy flirting and talking to regulars to take care of the people clearly trying to spend money with them. Never once got an apology for wait time and the manager was dancing and talking and made me wait even longer for refund. Not returning to spend money where I'm not valued.

Re: I have no problem with food being cooked to order at all. The problem that I had was that people who came in after me were being served before I was. When I inquired about my food I was told it's coming out now. Another 15 minutes rolled by and nothing. Never once was I offered an apology. That's what I have a problem with. Came here on a Sunday night to enjoy their $11 all you can drink special but ended up asking for a refund. As soon as the bartender swiped my credit card she walked away and started helping other people, left me standing there waiting to order. Stood there for 20 mins as all 3 bartenders walked by and took orders around me. If I had just paid for a drink don’t you think the 1st thing you would do is ask “what would you like to drink?” I then asked for a manager. Took him awhile to get to me to give me a refund. (The manager is really nice) He did offer me a drink to make up for the bad service. I turned down the drink and asked for fries instead. He didn’t want to but then said he would and replied with “it is going to be awhile before the fries come out.” I have been waiting for 45mins and still waiting! Not returning or telling anyone...
