NOLA Craft Culture — Local services in New Orleans

If you are looking for all things Mardi Gras, crafting, and glitter this is a fabulous local store in New Orleans. Nori is one of the owners and is a genius an excellent teacher who provides tips and console for anyone in the store. They also feature a crafting room with lockers so you can make creations on site and work over several days or weeks on it.

We ride in the krewe of tucks and will visit here 20 + over the year for tips as well as buying supplies to decorate our Mardi Gras throws.

I took a illuminated headdress class as my second class here here. It was extremely disappointing. The materials they provided were on par with a third grade art class. They wanted us to buy additional materials from their store after paying for the class. I was embarrassed to leave with the final product.

Brother O’Mara’s sculpy skull class was amazing. But the headdress class really soured my experience with NOLA...
