I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. We ordered 2 pasta lasagna trios and 1 lasagna to go. Our meals came with soup or salad plus the garlic rolls. The food was ok, but the service is the worst I have ever encountered. My friend picked up our order and brought it home. She arrived with two small bags double tied by the handle. One bag contained the salads and rolls. The styrofoam containers were crushed and I had to transfer it to plates. The second bag was very heavy and tied so tight that I had to cut the bag open with scissors. The lasagna on top was fine. The trio in the middle was slightly crushed by the weight of the lasagna. The bottom trio was crushed so bad that the sauce filled the bag. There was a very thin paper plate at the bottom of the food. I think this piece of paper was supposed to act as support. All of the cheese and lasagna were stuck to the top of the plastic lid. The food was packed in thin aluminum trays and thin plastic lids. My friend called and asked to speak to a manager. A very nice girl named Michelle answered. We offered to bring the crushed trio back. She apologized and said a driver would bring us another order. At that point I threw it away. The greasy sauce was all over my counter and I threw the lid in the trash. I then put the food down the disposal. It was about 10 minutes later a driver arrived. He asked for the crushed trio. He refused to give us the new order until we gave him the damaged order which we had thrown away. We called back and spoke to Michelle again. I want to state how very professional she was. She apologized and didn't understand why the driver did what he did. She put us on hold and the Owner came on the phone. He was very rude and very unprofessional. He was yelling at Michelle in the background. We told him that we didn't have the food it was in the trash. He then told us that he would have the driver come in and dig it out of our trash. The driver was ringing our doorbell while we were on the phone with the manager/owner. He was demanding that we collect the order out of the trash and give it to him. At this point we hung up the phone. We never asked for free food. We just wanted to comment on how poorly the packaging was for the carryout. I just don't think it's very professional to treat your customers like they are thieves or liars when your employees lack of packaging skill is the issue. Should 10 pounds of food be thrown in one thin plastic bag? Shouldn't it have been packaged in two separate bags? Maybe sir you should listen to your customers when they try to explain things to you instead of treating them so poorly. I'm sure you don't care at all, but I will never be back.
Word of advice to any restaurant locally...find Michelle and hire her. She doesn't deserve to be treated the way she was because of her superior customer...

My mother decided to have Joey's cater her wedding mid December. She has been ordering food from them for sometime and also has been in there. She loved there service and food. Being a small business owner she always tries to keep others in mind.
When she decided to have them cater she had went in to place her order. Spoke to Joey himself. When asking for a catering sheet or information he had said he didn't have any. So she went off what he recommended. He then wrote it down on a slip of paper, tossed behind the register and wrote down a quote of $275 and what was order on a piece of paper. When she asked Joey if he'd be the one to deliver and set up. He scoffed and said "No, i have people do that for me." That was the last she heard from him till the day of the wedding.
Day of wedding. Come to find out he had forgotten our catering order, our delivery was late, HE HAD TO SET UP(was not happy), order was not correct, food was cold, some food was cut others were not. He then went to kitchen and was cleaning/rinsing his kitchen utensils in her sink. As he did he splattered sauce all over her walls and didn't clean it. As my mom is not to focus on the food i did my best to keep her out of this problem. Was hard as many people noticed all of these things and mentioned them to her. Not the kind of thing you want to stress about on your wedding day.
Days later when her husband went to pay he charged him $407!! After being quoted the $275. When she called to question it he rudely replied with "Well do you have the paper to prove it? Also i threw in an extra plate of mushrooms!" She then went on to tell him everything that was wrong with order and what went wrong. He refused to acknowledge and say "prove it.".
We would not recommend them now will we be going back. Very sorry to say it. Service in the...
Read moreWhere do I begin. All around HORRIBLE experience. My husband and I ordered carry out for valentines day. The girl that answered the phone was extremely rude, rushed through taking my order and hung up before I was even finished ordering. Thank God considering how awful the food was. She lied and side garlic knots and marinara came with our meals. Which it did not. After returning home with our order we realized they forgot our soup. No biggie accidents happen and they were a little busy. I ordered the chicken marsala. The chicken was rubbery and the sauce was basically water down black pepper gravy. It was the worst marsala I've ever tasted. My cesar salad was soggy. Not edible. My husband got the chicken alfredo. Again the chicken was rubbery and dry. The Alfredo sauce was flavorless and bland. It was actually dry to the touch. Odd for SAUCE to be dry. Domino's chicken alfredo is better and much cheaper. For our son I got the spaghetti and meatball. The marinara was okay but the meatball was spicy. Which of course caused my son to stop eating and refused to eat anything else. I tried the meatball. It was not only spicy but it was soggy....how? I would have returned the food immediately but we live 20 mins away and it was already after 9pm by the time we finished eating from our own kitchen. Upset over the entire ordeal I decided it would be better to deal with it the next day. I returned this evening after work to explain to the manager what happened and brought all the food with me.
The manager didn't offer ANY kind of reimbursement even a partial, no remake, no something different, nothing. Oh but he'll talk with the cooks from last night.
It's not like we spent $30 and were unhappy. We spent $50 and had a horrible experience. First and last time we'll ever order from here. Very...
