Very disappointed.Advertised hours-1030 am to 10 pm. went Saturday 930 to 940 pm.lights were off. roughly 6 workers inside.waited in the drive thru... nothing.open sign was only light blaring it's brightness.drove to window.took a video of the entire thing.lady came to window.asked if they changed hours.she said they did.went home disappointed.boyfriend called and they said open till 10.manager said sorry he had no idea of store being closed early..if I came back they'd take care of me.got back there by 1010pm.ordered12 pk of butterscotch and 12pkof Heath dilly bars,lg cookie dough blizzard. They gave me my bag of bars and blizzard. They rang me up for $24 and change! I said they said they were going to take care of my bill like they told over the phone. Come to find out the manager wasn't even in the room. I asked the male that was helping me why they closed early.he said his manager ordered it. Another employee, the female that told me the hours changed when I went through the drive thru, chimed in and said they closed early because the owner said on school nights they could close early. It was a Saturday night to remind everyone. Then I asked for the manager I talked to on the phone. I'm leaving names out of this post because I am hoping they make this wrong right and no one has to have their heads on the chopping block because of a mistake and poor communication plus poor customer service. Anyway the manager finally came out. I said remember you said you would take care of my order because of the time spent and gas. I had told him my order prior to returning so he wasn't surprised with what I was getting and he was fine then. He told me he would give me a discount. I was sick of dealing with them so I paid, received my discount... which didn't make me any more pleased with them. I went out to get in my car. As I was buckling up I looked in my rearview mirror and there was 3 employees holding the door open, one was writing something down, another taking a picture or video, and the third was on his phone. I was like what the heck? Are they really doing what I think they're doing? I was nothing but nice and never became upset, loud,or used any fowl language. I've been a food server during my life and I know what people can be like and I have always made sure not to ever treat service working people with anything but kindness and understanding...no matter what. So there was no reason why they should be following me out like they were. But whatever...I didn't do anything out of line. I went home. I gave my honey his blizzard, and my friends their dilly bars and got one out for myself. Then opened it, it was smashed and half melted. Everyone else had the same problem. I went to replace theirs and mine with new ones from the bag and noticed that there was only a total of 4 butterscotch and 6 Heath...they not only gave me half of what I ordered but the half was WRONG and MELTED and SMASHED. I WAS NOT PLEASED. The next day we called in and they said the owner would call me back. Waited a day and still no call. Called back. Talked to a manager.they took note of everything.i told them I had video and they said to email it. I tried to email it but had no luck. I waited on her return call. She was going to talk to the crew and find out why they followed me out. Well, never received the call. I have other things to do in my life than wait on dairy Queen. So I decided to go to Google maps and give my review as is. I am a Google contribute and my honest opinion is part of being part of Google....so here it is...
I do not advise being a patron of such a poorly ran business. If you read this review, call them and ask the hours and tell them why you're doing so. I want them to know I am the reason. I am sick of people doing their jobs half a$$ed and the owners not fixing it. Dairy Queen....make it right for real. Call me back and I'll let Google maps know you did me right on this one. Otherwise....I hope you get people calling you regularly for...
Read moreWe have more locations to audit, but this particular Dairy Queen stands out for all the wrong reasons. First and foremost, this location fails to provide any nutritional transparency or value for its food offerings. The prices are extremely high compared to the small portion sizes, and staple menu items such as chicken tenders, fries, and onion rings are excessively salty.
The beverages are no better—what’s served tastes like watered-down fructose syrup with artificial coloring and ice. As for the quality of the beef and chicken, it’s questionable at best, and likely the cheapest available based on taste and texture.
Customer feedback is blatantly ignored. Management seems disengaged and more interested in collecting a paycheck than addressing legitimate concerns. Worse, there’s a strong impression that staff are being overworked and undervalued.
Dairy Queen should be focusing on what it was originally known for—ice cream. However, even that is at risk. If the machines aren’t cleaned and maintained regularly, it jeopardizes the one thing that made Dairy Queen special in the first place.
In my opinion, the New Richmond location would be better off sticking solely to ice cream. Their current food quality and pricing do not bring any meaningful value to the community and only damage the brand’s reputation. Right now, the food is doing a disservice to the...
Read moreWe got two separate orders, two $7 meal deals with chicken strips, one with ranch one with bbq sauce, we got to the window after some time which is okay since it’s usually a decently long wait but we stayed patient! We got to the window, I gave him cash for the first order, he dropped some of the change and didn’t apologize and closed the window, I paid with card for the second, after we paid he gave us the drinks and I turned around to give my friend in the back seat her drink and as I was turned around the worker behind the window threw the straw at me, and it went outside of my car, why couldn’t he have politely said hey here’s your straw? but instead he threw it. I then confront him and say “Can i have a new straw, you just threw that straw at me” he says “sorry” and closes the window. I get my food and the bbq is thrown all over my friends food, all over his fries and chicken, my friends ranch wasn’t even ranch, it was some sort of sour cream with dill? And you could tell from the window that it was disgustingly dirty inside. terrible service, terrible way to take care of food. Do better. I usually love this place to eat at but...
