Not Justa Cafe — Restaurant in New Richmond

This location in at 850 N Knowles Ave, New Richmond, WI 54017. If I could give a zero star, I would. To start, we had two families going for breakfast. We called ahead to reserve a large table for ten. They did accommodate our request. When we were seated they took our drink orders and as they dropped off our drinks, we ordered our food. They asked how we wanted our bill split. All was good until receiving our orders.

Now I am only reviewing our families experience and there may be another review of the second party. Once the orders came in, my daughter wanted over easy eggs and got well done. I received two Meat Lovers Messes and only ordered one. My wife ordered oatmeal and didn't receive it. The waitress reordered my daughters eggs and placed an order for oatmeal. She said that she wont charge for the second Mess, which I didn't order. We agreed and waited for the corrections. Meanwhile as everyone was almost done with there meals, my wife finally received her food. Everything looked good with her oatmeal but since everyone else was finishing up with there food, she felt rushed and only ate a few bits. The waitress came over to ask if everything was good with her oatmeal. My wife responded that its fine but came out late and everyone is getting ready to leave. My wife asked if she can at least get half off her oatmeal. The waitress said that she would ask her manager. When out waitress returned she said no on the half off. My wife asked to talk to her manager. My wife talked to the manager calmly and told her the situation. The manager still refused to compensate anything and was very rude. We mentioned that we come here often and never had issues like this until now. As things started to escalate the manager continued to be very rude and said that "we don't want you back and to leave. After the manager walk off.

Now, may I mention her meal was only $5.00 and $2.50 was not a make or break deal. It is just the principle of it all. We came in for a meal and received poor service at the end. She was unable to enjoy her meal and wanted compensation for her meal. I will not go back and do not recommend this establishment. As per my request, I would hope for an apology for the disrespect...

This place was recommended to us by my brother who hates most food so him going on about this place really meant something. Looking thru a brand new menu meant it was hard to choose so after our 1st order was taken by a super sweet girl and easily paid for and picked up during covid with no difficulties we ordered again the next night to get more from the menu. Everything was awesome! Something as simple as tater tots were the best weve ever had or knew they could be. My son got a burger and devoured it. I got a ruben, my fav sandwich, and it was great..huge slice of beef, no "sandwich meat". My husband got the not justa turkey something or other and tho it was enough we could've easily shared and both been full he ate it all..which he typically doesnt do (like my bro he doesnt care much about food either) so it obviously was also great. He was happy the turkey was real, garlic mashed were real and the fried stuffing was incredible (he usually doesnt like stuffing). 2nd order he got a chicken sandwich and fried green beans. I still had food leftover so I didnt get more..tho I'm regretting that now. My son got another burger. I tried one of the green beans and for the 1st time could taste the green bean, which is what I've always wished for in a fried green bean. I know the locals in this area know this place is awesome but we're just passing thru and wish we would've taken advantage earlier in our visit. Great food, great service, priced right. Def...

We took my 90 year old mother who uses a cane there for lunch. When we walked in, a waitress said she would be with us in a minute. The hostess who should have seated us then followed the waitress to the back looking like she wanted to argue with her. After 3 or 4 minutes, with my 90 year old mother and her cane, the waitress finally came back from the dining room and seated us. We felt like an inconvenience instead of a valued guest, and decided to leave. When we told the waitress and hostess that we felt they were rude to us, the hostess told us she couldn't seat us because she couldn't leave her money on the counter to seat us--even though she left her counter to go in the back and argue with the waitress- and then came back to the counter when the waitress returned to the dining room and stood there waiting until the waitress took care of...
