JP's Pizza & Grill — Restaurant in New Trier Township

Great single size pizza. The sauce was surprisingly tangy, the sausage was flavorful and the crust was thin and crispy. Overall the lunch was perfect. Update 12/6/17. Pizza still awesome. Thin and crispy. Called during the lunch and no one answered the phone. Figured it was busy. Went there and place was nearly vacant and one person was handling the front end. Unfortunately, the customer care from this person was poor. No acknowledgement when I walked in.No thank you to the other customers when they left. A little attention and thanks would go along way. If the pizza wasn't so damn good, I'd never set foot...

Fabulous- eat here. If you're wondering if you should eat here, just do it. The modest exterior of this joint hides a gem. Exquisite food with a fair price. Service and food that will carry you away to a far off European Villa. If you've traveled in Europe I'm talking about real, actual small modern businesses, not tourist traps. Buuut seriously, I think this guy is just some guy who moved his business from Italy to North Evanston and I can't recommend it enough. Thouroughly enjoyed eating...

The Meatball sandwich/panini here is fantastic. Extremely flavorful on the garlic bread. The side caesar salad was also really good and the croutons on it are top notch as well. The Minestrone soup is just okay, a little watery, but it has a decent amount of veggies in it. I struggle to understand how they stay open though. They're only open 4 hours a day for 28 hours a week and the few times I've been here, it was dead. But something must be...
