Plaza Garibaldi — Restaurant in New Ulm

Environment was very welcoming. Our waiter was great and every person working had great customer service 10/10. I got a seafood burrito and it blew my mind how great it was and it was huge!!!!! I ate it at lunch didn't finish it, ate it at dinner and have a solid portion left for lunch tomorrow and the price wasn't bad. My wife got the carne asada street tacos she said it's been her best ones so far and we been to many Mexican restaurants and trucks. Food came out fast but it wasn't busy. If anyone complains because they waited 30 minutes it was probably because it was busy. I will go there again and I wouldn't care if I waited an hour. A standard Mexican restaurant with above average food. The inside it warm and welcoming alone with the staff. I have never had an issue with any of the staff and attitude; everyone is very friendly. The food is typical Mexican-American and meets all of my high expectations. This is a good place to host large parties too. Here is some information from their website:

My review is based on several visits. New Ulm doesn't provide many options for ethnic food, so based on those standards, Plaza Garibaldi is solid.

There are many seats inside, with seating on the patio out front for warmer days. No issues when it comes to parking.

The service is always quick, and the food is what you would expect. I recently ordered shrimp fajitas and noticed it wasn't sizzling like it should be when it comes out from the kitchen and was lukewarm. Other than that, the food is always tasty.

The strawberry margaritas don't disappoint, even on a cold November day.

For birthdays they do come out with a sombrero for the birthday person and sing. Along with that, ice cream is served.
