7/18/25 Had some items to take care off under warranty. These were taken care of as always by Chuck Spaeth Ford of Sleepy Eye. Would also like to thank Briar for taking care of my A pillar problem until a permanent fix is issued by Ford. Thank you Briar! Also Rick and Beth worked together to insure a low tire pressure sensor was covered under warranty. Thanks to all!
5/2/25 Another great experience at Chuck Spaeth Ford in Sleepy Eye. Rick and the service department always do a great job. Beth Z is also very good at explaining extended warranty options. She also notified me my current warranty is going to expire in a few thousand miles and I need to decide which warranty to select if I decide to extend my warranty. Thanks Beth!!
2/25/25. Service department ALWAYS checks with me before replacing a part that is not covered under warranty. I have never had to take my vehicle back in because of a repair or service work that was not done correctly the first time.

It was for my daughter who lives several hours away from home and she needed dependable transportation and service when needed. We had shopped all day around town. Dan was so very welcoming and approachable when we entered the store. We told him what we were looking for and he was so impressively knowledgeable! He answered our questions and concerns, and then delivered a car to the front door that he thought would meet our needs. We only had to drive that one car! After all day of looking and dealing at other places, Dan found in one test drive, exactly what we had been searching for all day. It met everything on the list!! After the test drive we took some time to evaluate everything we had seen for the day. Dan, as the salesman, truly is what swayed our decision. He helped the decision just by his approach, knowledge, and not engaging in the 'games' that we experienced at other dealerships. It made him trustworthy and made me feel as a mom that if my daughter had any issues, the dealership would not leave her hanging in the dust after the sale. Kari was also very nice! She was very patient with our decision making process on the service plans. I usually do not buy them, but after talking to Kari, she made me feel the added security for my daughter would be worth it. Thank you for the experience.    Read moreRecently I purchased a car (not Chuck Spaeth Ford). Before I purchased the vehicle I brought it into Chuck Spaeth to get it inspected. After the examination they noted a few small things but said the vehicle was fine.
After a few days I noticed the horn didn't work. I brought it into the service center to have it looked at and they said during the inspection the tested on the key fob but not on the car ($150 for them to look at it). His excuse was he didn't know it had two horns.
They said it 100% needed to be replaced and it would work. I talked to them and said it was on their checklist and they missed it and would only give me 50% of labor to replace the horn; granted this is for something I should have never paid for if they did their job right.
I brought it into a mechanic to get a second opinion and they said the horn is bad, but the right inner fender is completely missing which probably caused issues with the horn. They said that it was very obvious and anyone should have noticed that. If it wasn't replaced it could badly damage the car because their is internal wiring in that part of the car.
Long story short, I have to replace 2 parts to my car. All together this is costing me $600. Chuck Spaeth Ford looked at my vehicle twice and missed something very obvious. To me this shows that they are incompetent, negligent, or both.
