Stopped in on a Sunday night (08/3/14). Wasn't packed AT ALL like usual. Got a table quickly. Ordered some sliders and checked twice with waitress to not put onions on them. The burgers arrived with lots of onions. When they were sent back, the kitchen simply scraped them off and sent the same order back. And of course there were still onions on them! But my biggest problem is the requesting of ID AND CREDIT CARD to "open" a tab. It was me and ONE other person. No large group to manage. Not packed where people just slip out. They took my ID AND CCARD and disappeared. How do I know someone isn't back somewhere making a copy of my MY FULL INFO? I get verifying the card and ID @ the table. But there is ZERO REASON TO WALK OFF AND DO GOD KNOWS WHAT WITH ALL MY INFO. For the record, we ordered 6 shots, one virgin OJ, philly cheese steak, and 10+3 sliders. Be aware that the philly cheese steak comes on a HOT DOG BUN! The sliders (with or without) onions were matchbox sized portions of meat (SMALLER THAN White Castle's), tasted old/reheated. The shots are tiny but decent selection. No I don't expect to be "stuffed" on a $4.50 philly cheese steak. Indeed you get what you pay for.

I even spoke to the "manager" (a 30 something, middle eastern looking guy, balding). He said he has been there 5 plus years, and their policy to TAKE CC and ID and disappear was standard. I mentioned I had been there about a dozen times since 2011 and NEVER asked to do that before, but he assured me it's common procedure. He also said, he would have the CC and ID returned, but I still needed to pay and the end. Well master of the obvious, anything eaten or drank will be paid for. I told him I would write a review and he said "what for? I'm eating and drinking. If I don't like the place/food, just to leave." Right, so you have my ID and CC and call the police and charge me with theft of services?! Not tonight buddy, not tonight.

And the AUTOMATIC adding of a tip was insane. The waitress took FOREVER to bring the check. The 3 times she came to the table (final with bill inside), not once was my ID or CC returned. As I dug out cash for the check (which I had) and sent it back, she returned telling me I was short. I in fact did NOT automatically add ANY tip. I gave her the amount of we drank and ate. Tips are NOT automatic EVER. And if the service is terrible, staff have attitudes, orders are wrong, corrected orders are just scraped off, then NO YOU DON'T DESERVE A TIP. She tried to insist that I was short and I calmly but sternly asked...how much as I short? ...The tip amount. She kept the 80 some odd cent left from the cash. Never even attempted to bring my change.

At this point, I said bring back my CC and ID NOW. Been here 10 to 12 times since 2011, and this was my LAST visit. Never EVER EVER AGAIN. NOT EVEN FOR FREE.
