I recently had a HORRIBLE experience here and don’t recommend anyone (especially black people) to contribute to this business’ income statement any longer.

Entered the location with my girlfriend, we immediately went to pick our vegetables and seafood. Once picked, we headed to the counter to pay and this is where everything took a turn.

First off, the establishment is full of men who apparently do not speak English. We were ignored when asked the different options for having the seafood cooked, overcharged for the food, ridiculed in their language and the worse was yet to come.

They have a “ticket system” where once you pay for your order, you’re given a ticket with a number and that number is called by an employee once the order is ready. After noticing we’d been waiting for a while, an employee approached my girl and I asking for our tickets — I handed him two blue tickets. After approx 5 minutes, the same employee approached me with ONE platter and said he only received one ticket from me.

We argued with the employee for approx 5 minutes because he refused to give us both orders. He eventually talked to a “manager” about it and sat the 2 orders on the counter — he didn’t pack the food to go and there was no apology, not even from the “manager”.

I don’t know what type of customers they’re used to here but I’m definitely not one of them, definitely think the guys running this place are racist, and definitely won’t be returning after this experience. Not to mention, the quality of the food wasn’t worth the price at all.

DEAR BLACK PEOPLE: I know we can never agree on anything but STOP SPENDING YOUR MONEY HERE!!!! Why put money in the pockets of a group of people who don’t like you and treat you and your...

This place is too time consuming. I was there a hour waiting for fried red snapper, veggies an rice. The food is overpriced $30.19 for what I ordered. There is also no order in that place, especially for travelers. I was all over that small place trying to figure out where to pay an where to get food. There is one stool to eat, so if u are visiting u have no place to eat. Its wi ter, so outside isn't a good idea either. When u walk in you have to pick the fish u like along with the veggies. The food was pretty fresh, I cld tell. Then u have to wait for the man in the back to weigh it and price it. You then leave out that area and have to wait again to pay. There are ppl everywhere because there is no order and signs. Once your food is cooked u have to wait again to season it and wait for one of the men to package it, and wrap it up. The food is too pricey for their not to be any organization. The fish was ok. I cld of fried my own damn red snapper, I didn't like the veggies and the rice was really good. I couldn't finish it because it got cold and hard. I traveled from Manhattan after this place was recommended to me. If u are traveling and lack patience I wouldn't recommend this place. What is crazy is if someone comes in and orders 20lbs if food, u have to wait behind that person until their food is done even if it would be quicker to cook your single serving. People were coming in ordering bundles of fish and ppl who had shrimp or a piece of fish like me had to still wait. They use one small stove, its ridiculous & need some order in that place, its a mess. The food was not worth the wait. 1 star because the rice was...

The worst fried fish I’ve ever had!!! The menu combos are not made with fresh fish, it’s old fish that the workers re-battered with bread crumbs and fry to serve their customers to eat.So, the business doesn’t loose profit on spoiled fish that needed to be thrown in the trash! You can taste the difference if your a seafood lover. This place charges you extra when you choose fish in its market section to be fried.Flounder filets sold at $3.99 per pound. I picked 6 flounder filet price after being weighed $43.27.Asked for it to be fried, charge $6 per fish to be fried! 👀 Add 8 shrimp patties at $2 each total was $70.00! THATS HIGHWAY RUBBERY!! I saw the filets sold here come prepackaged (frozen packs of Red Snapper filets & Farm raised Salmon filets thawing in fish markets sink) then set out on trays to be sold at a high prices.(You buy these frozen packs for cheap at the supermarket) Customers are better off spending their money at a seafood restaurant where their food can be served at a table and enjoyed. The workers will welcome you in for a purchase, but rush you out once they get your money!! The fried fish prepared from the combo menu is served burnt, fried food should be Served Golden brown after cooking it!The steamed fish is salty! The Shrimp, crab and salmon patties are dry with No flavor! The food here is Not worth waiting on a line for. Save yourself the wait and go anywhere else but here to spend your money for a...
