Bagel Depot — Restaurant in New York

I usually do not go there anymore because they kept getting my egg sandwich wrong, even after repeatedly saying DO NOT PUT ON KETCHUP. So now I go else where. While this store is closer to my home I do on occasion grab some things but no breakfast sandwiches. I'll get cold cuts most of the time no issue. I don't know if it's a language barrier or not but I had asked for antipasto, and please if possible try not to give me too many peppers, I said I know it's hard, but if you could. I sware she must have giving me everyone. Ok.so now am in a rush I had to go in regretting my first step in. But I figured how bad can you mess up a quarter pound of white America and a quarter pound of turkey, right? Well they did...even after the Spanish speaking guy repeated it back to me...will I got my cheese, but not the turkey........it was chicken...so after many strikes I am done. I’m always in search for a good bagel joint that makes the bagels the right way and that means water boiling the bagels . I heard about this place so I had to give it a try. Sure enough I was not disappointed this place knows how to make bagels . The bagels are light very soft nice chew and not good but great taste. My score for this bagel is a 9 which is a great score in my book. I would have gave it a 9.3 if they would add more everything seasoning to the bagel I felt like it was not drenched in it which is the way it should be because when your looking for a everything bagel we are looking for that seasoning. The staff is friendly and welcoming which also helped their score. Give this place a try you will love it. Excellent bagels, flavourful food. Actual effort into making bagel sandwiches and have never gotten my order wrong. Three dollars for bacon and egg on a plane bagel which is a decent price in Eltingville. Line moves fast even when it gets crowded (and it can get crowded). It's also right across the street from the train to the ferry and several bus stops which makes it very convenient if you show up a little early and eat breakfast on the go. I wish they made egg sandwiches past 1:30 I'd get them on my lunch break.
