As a loyal customer, I can confidently say that their rib eye hero sandwich is an absolute must-try. My friends call me "Mr. 82" because I only order the #82 spot on the menu, this sandwich is a true showstopper.
The combination of tender rib eye, crispy fried eggplant, hot pepper spread, and the delectable balsamic glaze is a flavor explosion in every bite. The succulent rib eye is cooked to perfection, delivering a rich and juicy meaty goodness that is hard to resist. The fried eggplant adds a delightful crunch and a subtle earthy taste, complementing the steak beautifully.
What sets Filoncino apart is their attention to detail in their ingredients. Read moreI'm very keen on first impressions whenever I try out a new establishment. Today's experience could've been a lot better.
First off, the parking lot is a literal death trap. Park in there at your own risk. Garbage everywhere, dumpsters and trash cans in the parking spaces, and it's very tight to maneuver your vehicle, so be cautious.
I had suggested Filoncino Cafe to my family for a late lunch, and we decided to dine in. We were seated pretty quickly, and given our menus to browse. Upon our order being taken, we all felt rushed, and detected a minor attitude from staff when we asked questions about things, such as items on the menu, or other things pertaining to the bakery items displayed outside. No one in my party was rude or inconsiderate to staff members, so it was mildly shocking to be spoken to in a crass manner.
The food was decent, everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The french fries were really good.
After we finished our meal, my family decided to order at the bakery counter before leaving, however, when ordering, staff behind the counter were not very kind towards my family member and they were upset with the experience they had, because, again, staff was rushing with the orders when it was being taken, and wanted everyone to hurry up and pay and be gone. It also felt like certain customers had preferential treatment opposed to others, and it didn't go unnoticed. Not really fair or equal in customer experience for sure.
Overall, for a first time impression of this establishment, I was not impressed and I feel extremely embarrassed for suggesting this place to my family and having a very lackluster experience. I won't be back, and I would not recommend it to any close friends or relatives either.

Read moreFood was absolutely excellent! Sandwiches were huge and delicious, and the meat inside was plentiful. I ordered the roast beef which is nicknamed the Coney Island, and it was fabulous.
Parking lot is tiny, but they can’t do much about that.
We ordered, and were told 20 minutes. A reasonable amount of time for our order. We arrived at the 20 minute mark, paid for the order and sat down and waited.
20 minutes later, which is now 40 minutes after we ordered and been told it would be 20 minutes , I walked up to the counter and asked how the order was doing. She looked down at a bag, asked me what the last four numbers of my phone number was, and said that was my bag. When I asked why I wasn’t told it was ready and it was just sitting there. She said that nobody told her it was paid for. Maybe they need a lesson on communication because she’s 3 feet from the register and somebody should’ve told her the large order was paid for and they were sitting there waiting to pick it up
Again our food was excellent and worth waiting for but part of our order was french fries, and since they sat there, they were...
