Bunch O' Bagels — Restaurant in New York

I had a very disappointing experience at the front counter. When I asked a simple question about where to place my order, the woman at the counter rolled her eyes at me and then completely ignored me. Fortunately, another employee standing nearby noticed what happened and kindly offered to take my order at the register.

As I began speaking with her, the first woman kept interrupting and acting as if she couldn’t understand what I was saying, even though I was being clear. Her behavior was rude and dismissive, and despite my attempts to ignore her and deal only with the more courteous staff member, she continued to insert herself into the conversation in a very unpleasant and unprofessional way.

Eventually, I felt so disrespected that I decided to leave without placing my order. It’s unfortunate to be treated this way...

I ordered an egg salad on a bagel from here. It was honestly not very good. The egg salad was incredibly bland; not a speck of black pepper or paprika. It was such an off taste that it made the veggies on it taste unwashed. The veggies by the way, I didn't know until after when I checked my receipt, cost 50 cents extra EACH. I dont think I have ever paid to add lettuce, onion, tomato, etc on a sandwich. Not only did they cost extra but there was so little on there.

The bagel itself, garlic onion bagel, was delicious. It was very fresh. I had to scoop the egg salad and veggies off because I couldn't finish it but really wanted to finish the bagel. Over $10 for a sandwich I couldn't finish.

I was left thoroughly displeased with our experience at "Buncho" today. Me and my friend thought we'd stop by for a quick breakfast having heard mixed reviews. Our request for toasted bagels fell on deaf ears, and our server simply forgot (?) to put any cream cheese on the bagel al salmone. Quite frankly the attendant seemed more interested in flirting with the customer in front of us (4/10 as well) than getting our order right. Factor in the prices we were dealt and we are discussing a situation that would be classed as a robbery in most south american countries. Finally, It would be a discredit to our rigid rating system to even bestow upon this meal a rating. 2 stars because we support kosher business despite this...
