Koshertown Supermarket — Restaurant in New York

I’ve been shopping here for decades. It’s not a giant all-in-one grocery, but it does have a produce shop next door. Otherwise, there are plenty of regular grocery items, either a great selection of different items. They also carry baked goods, dairy and meat (prepared and packaged, a wonderful freezer selection and kitchen items such as kosher scrubbers, plastic wrap etc. and containers for storing fresh food or leftovers.

A couple of years ago they remodeled the store and now there is an area with tables where one can buy items on display to be warmed up, along with coffees, teas and other beverages. It’s a convenient and attractive place to take a break or meet a friend for breakfast or lunch.

The place to go for shabbos salads and dips. Consistently the best. Our shabbos table would not be the same without the tehini eggplant. Very large variety and fresh. Make sure to go early as they tend to sell out especially when there is a conference in the neighborhood which is very often. Salmon plate is my preference for lunch. I went to Koshertown to try the dips & salads for the Friday night Shabbos meal. All I can say is Wow! Amazingly delicious salads & dips. They also have a large selection of dry kosher products in roomy ailes & an in store coffee shop with delicious baked goods. The staff are super helpful & friendly.
