Buongiorno Bagels & Café — Restaurant in New York

Confusing arragements how to order or to pay... you have to order one side and order/ pay on another, but bagels and roll on casher side... it must to be in one place ... make one side just a work area and other casher and espresso... change a casher she dont know even your menu... you have outside sit but noone want to sit there... put some flowers and make it comfortable to peiple hang out there that also bring extra people to your shop... speacially other car who passing by and visially see activities it bring their attention. Reguarding spreads you put on bagel, must be checked every morning. I love egg salad but one time it was not fresh ... when you order eggs to stay you dont provide plates, which understood on point that you wanna save on dushwashing, but dont give a aluminum trays, at least it desprespect to ur customers .. my pesonal suggestion use nice paper or plastic plates for people who want to stay.. I like your interior it very new fresh construction. And very clean place. Regurding staff it too much you can save on this and cut it 30% after rearrangements or use it as servers for people who wanna stay..

I never make neg reviews , I really need to make sure everyone is aware what kind business they run. I questioned why was I charge a bar subtotal.The Gentlemen said I don't know talk to that lady over there , I Asked the lady and her reply was I have no Idea she said that's how it is. I said was I charged for something I did not order, She said I don't now talk to the manager , I said ok can i speak to them , She said they are not here, The lady was not very nice about it either, She was nasty about it. I wanted to understand what the bar subtotal was, As an employee of the business they should be able to explain to the customers what those charges are for. Not only that they did not make there customers aware that we are being charged to use a credit card, There is a fee to use your credit card that is on the receipt, If I knew that I would of paid cash, I feel like they are scamming customers for charges that we are unaware of , As they are looking to make more money . Most people don't ask for a receipt and do not realize what they were...

The food is decent- unfortunately the staff looks unhappy and miserable and it shows. My biggest issue is that customers aren't aware they are being charged an additional fee when they use a credit or debit card. There's a small sign posted by the register but it's blocked by items in front. I purchased goods from this place and resent the fact I'm forced to pay the credit card processing fee because the owner is too cheap to do so. Will never go back and will be filing a complaint with the Department of Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau.

• UPDATE * I found out that it's illegal to charge the credit card processing fee to the consumer. Remember the "cash vs credit card" price difference awhile back at gas stations- it was stopped because it was illegal. The supervisor at Buon Giorno was so nasty and disrespectful to me and screamed at me that what they were doing was not illegal but a smart and effective way to go around this would be to place a minimum amount to charge.
