Painting with a Twist — Attraction in New York

Kumar and Felicia truly made my mother’s birthday very special. Off the bat, they greeted our group and asked me if she had any favorite songs so they can play them for her. Her name plate at her easel also had a happy birthday message which was super cute. When the session began, Kumar announced her birthday to the class and hyped everyone up to paint, he also took song requests from the crowd throughout the night, which gave great vibes to the class. In the back, Felicia was serving up the drinks while Kumar dished out the feel good jokes and made everyone feel comfortable to paint the whole time. During our intermission, they orchestrated a game for the class to play and took my mom as a volunteer. I never seen my mom smile so much in one night before. Everyone had so much fun, laughing, talking to their neighbors, even my dad (who never did a paint night and thinks they’re lame) left saying we NEED to come back. Overall, this experience blew away every experience I’ve had at other paintbars; I’d come back here a million times before I ever go back to Muse or other paintbars in the area. I'm so glad I did my birthday party here! It's a really cute family owned art studio. The staff is so friendly and I especially loved that an actual human answered every time I called for questions. The drinks were very affordable! Kumar and his beautiful wife accommodated our group experience and oh boy! We had so much fun! There was also great music, a charades type guessing game similar to taboo, and they allowed me to bring in food for the birthday party since we were all coming in right from work! We got a great discount for a party of 6, so the painting was also an affordable experience! They gave me a painting off the wall and a keychain for my birthday! We had such a great time and the place is filled with good energy! This place is worth every penny, you have to try it out! Especially if you're from the neighborhood! PWAT Forest Hills is my home away from home. Each event that I attend with my friends is a fun, enjoyable experience! In the few hours we are together - we eat, drink, sing to the tunes being played, and get to create our own masterpiece. Owners Felecia and Kumar, are wonderful, positive people who provide an amazing space to gather with friends. They are extremely accommodating and go out of their way to help their patrons have a memorable experience. Over the past 5 years, I’ve attended many public events as well as planned private events for a good group of friends celebrating birthdays, favorite holidays or just an excuse to throw a themed party.
