Overpriced and Underwhelming: Disappointing Experience at This So-Called Pizzeria
After visiting this restaurant, I’m genuinely puzzled as to how it’s receiving five-star reviews. If I had to rate it solely on the food, it wouldn’t get more than a single star. It’s marketed as a pizzeria, but unfortunately, the dishes and overall experience were far from satisfying.
First, the prices are high for the area, which is filled with young people who likely have plenty of other, better options in Brooklyn. For what they’re charging, the quality should be much higher. You could easily go to other nearby restaurants and find better food at a better price, making the high cost here difficult to justify.
Starting with the dishes I ordered: I decided to skip the pizza and try some of the new items on the menu—the salmon and a beef dish with macaroni. The salmon was mediocre at best. It’s hard to completely ruin salmon, but this was about as bland and unremarkable as it gets. If I’m being generous, it might deserve one-and-a-half stars.
The beef with macaroni was even worse, offering a bland flavor that reminded me of my previous disappointing experience at this same restaurant. Despite it being new on the menu, it didn’t seem like they put any effort into improving the quality or taste.
Since it’s a pizzeria, I decided to try the pizza, hoping it might redeem the meal. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We ordered a small and a large pizza. The small pizza was incredibly basic, with almost no toppings, and the large pizza, while slightly bigger, was similarly disappointing—small, bland, and tasteless. It was hard to believe they’re branding this place as a pizzeria with pizza like this.
To be fair, our server was kind and attentive, and I have no complaints about the service. But at the end of the day, people go to a restaurant to eat, not just to be served. Friendly service can’t make up for food that’s overpriced and...

I set to a table full of debris from the plants that set along side the barrier. When asked for the table to be cleaned the way that brought out a bunch of wet paper towel and not a sanitized dish cloth. Strike One! My relative in that order drinks one cocktail on the menu served with Hendricks gin. While on my way to refresh myself, I asked the bartender do they have Hendricks and she replied in short that they were out. Upon return I asked for a sip of my relative drink and it did not have Hendricks. I explained to my previous review inquiry at the bar. He explained that the server never told him the drink as featured on menu was not going to be served with Hendricks. Strike Two! Strike Three was the conversation the bartender and other employees had referencing how would some one know that the drink had no Hendricks. It gets better out the park home run! A party of 5 with two children left area across fro us in utter disarray; food all over the floor I just knew birds would soon come to feast. However a patron was seated to a clean table and disastrous floor. Apparently she did not mind as she sarcastically replied to our inquiry that clearly children were seated here. We shut up and watched the show. Out food was bland and the server never made eye contact. We had to ask someone else to clean up the mess across from us. Meanwhile the woman sat there unattended to for over 15min. Mind you this outdoor area. My cousin went next door to Starbucks and on his way back the lonely patron had broke free from the caged mess of a restaurant and said to him you’re right this place sucks! No tip and never again. I will be notifying the regional or cooperate office about the service I received and witnessed. Again,...
Read moreWe noticed that this place was going down on the hill during our last experiences. We were in need to request bread, cocktails arrived after several complaints after finishing the appetizers (30 minutes literally) the table was never clean after finishing the appetizers and more. We did not expect to go for dinner and leave injured as it happened yesterday We arrived and no hostess was available Half of the restaurant was empty and the place was in fact over staffed The girl that is usually at the counter and prepares cocktails said that it was a 15 minutes waiting time My friend is 75 years old and disabled The waiting area seats were taken Nobody offered a chair at anytime I went to talk to the male manager after over 20 minutes wait More clients were arriving and leaving since no hostess was available and the chaos was too obvious The manager response was about limited kitchen capacity On the other hand, new clients seating at the bar were admitted with no worries about the kitchen capacity We left the place heading another restaurant We were waiting outside at the store front and my 75 years old friend got injured with debris falling apart from the structure of the restaurant He started to bleed non stop The ambulance and the fire department finally arrived with help The restaurant was not offering any apologize or help Some clients did assist us bringing some napkins, and water Honestly, this place is a disgrace I do understand the reason why most of the NYC CPK were shutting down one by one
UPDATE 8/4/2022 Thank you for a robotized response All the information is self explanatory if you read the detailed review A message was sent to your CEO Mr. Hyatt in addition to a police report completed yesterday We are waiting for an executive response and corrective actions...
