California Cafe Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in New York

Decided to walk in because I always pass by this place and all I can say is I’ll never be back lol. I come in and the worker is sitting at the bar with another person and doesn’t say hello until I do. There is no one inside and I decided to order tacos placeros. The girl wasn’t even sure about the menu as she asked me how many tacos when clearly it said 2 on the menu. She says 15 minutes for TWO TACOS. I go ok. I come back after 15 minutes and then she goes “oh it’s not ready yet 5 more minutes. 20 minutes go two tacos when it’s dead inside ??? Ridiculous. I come back to get the tacos and she tells me to grab the order myself on the counter. Customer service is HORRIBLE. I was praying that the tacos world be somewhat decent at this point but unfortunately they weren’t. The rice tasted bland which was such a disappointment. They didn’t give any type of salsa either. Walked in expecting good Mexican food. I ordered the birria tacos and the food quality Is just awful. It didn’t even look like birria and the meat was burnt.
