M and K is by far the BEST. Much BETTER than this place by far. They have 3 locations on Staten Island. Great food, Great Service, Great Prices, NO hidden fees. Try them out you won't regret it. So HAPPY I found an honest and decent establishment. Will definitely be spending my money here for sure. Check it out Everyone!!
NO to CAMPO BELLO I have never written a review before and I have dined in countless more upscale restaurants. However my experience recently here has forced me to do just that. As recommended by a friend we came here recently for dinner.We ordered our meals and we dined in. When we received the bill we were shocked to see that we were charged a 15% SERVICE FEE. We addressed this with the manager or whomever we were directed to, with this smug look on his face he told us that if 3 or more people dine in you are charged, wait the cash register is programmed to charge the 15% SERVICE FEE Really??? It was only 4 of us and we are charged for sitting to eat.Seriously?? And then he had the nerve to ask if we didn’t like the service and if so what’s wrong with paying... Really what service???The food was already made and they chose to wheel it over to us. We would have had no problem bringing it to our table. As I’ve stated before not only have I dined at more better places, but I was also a manager for a very upscale restaurant in the city, and was a server. NEVER were you forced to pay a “SERVICE FEE”, or charged any fee. PATRONS BE AWARE of this because we were never told beforehand, which is DECEPTIVE and DISHONEST. Read moreI won't be returning to this place. The only thing I liked about this place was the server Maria and the buffet setup they have. I along with a group of 14 of us chose to order from the menu and not the buffet. Most of the food that was ordered and served to us was warm to cold. Some of the orders had to be repeated two to three times to the servers before it was finally served. You need a key to enter the restrooms which I asked the manager by the register. I thanked the manager for the key and didn't get a peep from him, not a, your welcome or I hope you and your group are enjoying your selves. Nada, zilch, a big nothing, no smile or a nod. The restrooms were clean but were as cold as it was outside. The server Maria ended her shift and told us another server will take care of us but, that was not the case. The server never came until we called for her. To top off the night, as we were leaving the server ask me, hey what about the coffees. I replied what coffees. They apparently didn't charge for few coffees when we paid our bill and were now looking to charge us as we were walking out the door. They could've gave us the coffees on the house. Read moreLiving on the north shore I ordered from here often for a quick dinner. I always ask for my avocado whole since covid so I can wash it and cut it up myself. Ordered #1 meal today with an avocado. The food came the Maduros are swimming in oil. I was not even going to complain, but when I cut open my avocado it's got mold and alot of it. I worked at chipotle for 2 years and we ordered pounds of avocados as long as they were recently ordered they NEVER HAD MOLD LIKE THIS! Then when I call to ask them to refund the $3.50 they charged me for the avocado they said they couldn't but they can only send me another. I asked for it whole again because I like to clean it first they said if somethings wrong with another one they send then it's on ME!?! ON ME BUT YOU ARE SENDING MOLDED AVOCADOS!? I don't thinks so. They call the "manager" then tell me they can send me one cut up why send it cut so you can cut off w.e is molded and we good? They said that's my only option since they can't refund the money, there sending it to me now I can guarantee I'm not eating it for fear of what they are gonna do to it since I complained.
