Carvel — Restaurant in New York

I just wanted to take a moment to share how wonderful my experience at this Carvel location has been, especially with the two male employees who work on Fridays. As a woman with a young child, it’s not always easy to find places where I feel comfortable, welcomed, and truly taken care of, but these two gentlemen go above and beyond every single time.

From the moment we walked in, the store was spotless. The counters were gleaming, the floor was free of any sticky spots, and the displays were perfectly organized and inviting. Even the toppings bar looked fresh and neat, which really stood out to me since that’s something a lot of places overlook. You can tell that cleanliness is a priority here, and as a mom, that makes such a difference.

But what really sets this location apart is the service. The two employees greeted us right away with genuine smiles and such a warm, welcoming attitude. They were so patient with my child, who takes a little extra time to pick out ice cream flavors, and instead of rushing us, they made it fun. They asked questions, offered little suggestions, and turned it into a positive experience for my child, which I really appreciated.

They worked quickly but carefully, making sure everything was prepared perfectly. Even when the store started to get a little busier, they kept the same friendly energy with every customer. You could just tell they take pride in what they do, and that kind of consistent kindness and professionalism is rare to find these days.

Overall, the service was exceptional, the atmosphere was clean and welcoming, and the employees made us feel like valued customers instead of just another order. I can honestly say these two gentlemen are the reason I’ll keep coming back on Fridays. They make the experience something special every single time, and I can’t thank them enough for making our visits such a bright spot in our week.

Highly recommend this Carvel — not just for the delicious ice cream, but for the outstanding staff who truly make it a pleasure especially those 2 young boys who make it a priority to treat each customer with respect...

Went in here Wed, asked if it was buy one get one today, they said yes. (They always say its for soft ice cream only) So I said can I get two shakes, she said what size etc. Then rang me up for two of them. So I said isn't it buy one get one? She said "oh, it's for sundaes" I was like oh, I thought it was just for soft ice cream which is what is in it, and I was like it was the first question I asked you I said, she didn't budget and continued to charge me. This place is not worth my money. Totaly rip...

Beaware most of the 5 star reviews are fake. Bought a chocolate milk shake the guy loaded it with syrup couldn't taste the ice cream brought it back and told staff the person who made it said he put in less than what he did even though I watched him and told me I was lying and to add insult to injury manager wouldn't replace it.
