Carvel — Restaurant in New York

I went into this location with my 2 littles asking if they can do the small kid size 1scoop just in the larger cup for the kids have space in the cup so the ice cream doesn’t end up all over the car. (Which when you have kids under 5 you know the struggle.) They have new kids working so I asked if they would mind doing it. (I would have paid the $.50 for each cup just to have the larger cup.) Considering that if you get a come anywhere with children and you ask for a cup they usually give it to you. The Chinese lady who clearly either owned the store or is the manager was rude and had too many people at the counter servicing just me and my kiddos. (So too many hands are already in the pot.) she didn’t care I was in there with little children and didn’t care to hear my question. So, I asked if it was ok to give one scoop kids serving in the larger cup. To which she was confused by the question. I explained my need for the larger cup. She said we aren’t supposed to do that. And started to grab at the soft ice cream machine which I didn’t ask for. I asked for a single scoop! I said wait a minute cause that isn’t the ice cream the kids wanted. She was rude and started talking over me and I said you are either going to listen or I just don’t give you the business. She repeated fine we aren’t supposed to do it. I asked you aren’t supposed to or are you saying you won’t? She said she won’t. So I said thank you and left. Took my kids and left. Be aware she doesn’t care if you have little kids. Anywhere I go I ask if I can have a larger cup for whatever it is but only the serving for the small so that they don’t spill it. And it usually is never a problem. It’s a...

I always get great service at this carvel have a couple of young kids who go to college and work there and they are very well trained and very kind ...and the place was spotless very very clean ..it is nothing like the other carvel on Amboy road across from stop and shop now that store is disgusting very dirty even the people are dirty as can be...and 1 last thing that disgusted me they don't have a working cash register they give you change from dirty taped on cups that look like they have been there for years and after the give out the change to the customer right away they scream out next in line and person didn't even wash there hands after reaching in that filthy cup of dirty...
