Writing this review under another account as Google Business suggested me to do. So, I if Picture Perfect NY decides to call me spam and insists I never worked with them, well thatâs because I have never conversed with them on this account. However, I will share my experience. Also check my Yelp review with pictures to prove my experience.
This review is not for the pictures, as I didnât get to have my childâs photo taken here. This review for the customer service I received. At first, the owners seemed like very nice accommodating people. I asked them if I could pay for my childâs pictures in advance and they obliged. I was looking forward to the pictures as any parent who is willing to spend $592. However, I had ran into an unfortunate circumstance and asked if I could reschedule. This is where things got bad. At first either Angela or Joseph seemed sympathetic in email but then told me they couldnât reschedule because the other party had paid. I told them that actually, I had paid. I corrected them with a smiley face to ensure I wasnât trying to be rude. Then out of nowhere they refunded my money. I was upset because even though I assured them I paid for the pictures, they processed a refund anyways. I didnât feel like it was great customer service. So I originally went on google and wrote how upset I was. I said that âit is a shame that they couldnât work with me instead they refunded me in which now I have to find someone last minute to do my daughters pictures. Iâm sure their pictures are amazing but their customer service isnât great.â Now, thereâs nothing hurtful in this review. However, Picture Perfect NY emailed me a nasty email. Threatened me to take down my google review or they would pursue action. When I refused, they responded to my original google review with sensitive information I had confided in them. They claimed they couldnât work with me but this was ONLY AFTER my initial review. If this was discussed before hand in email, I would have definitely understood. I would have even left 5 stars...even if they chose not to work with me. That shows me that they genuinely care for my safety. But... this is not the case. They shared information online which could put myself and my kids in danger if the other party chose to read through the reviews. I could be identified by the sensitive information that they chose to share. I felt this was malicious and unnecessary of them to do. Especially only to try to justify a one star review. I feel embarrassed that they did that and such emotional stress. Overall, I feel distrust in this business and I can not recommend them to my family nor friends. I even reported this behavior to the BBB. Itâs truly upsetting. The upside is, I finally got my refund and I can move...
Read moreMy mom and sister went to the studio since my husband and I could not make it that day. This is what they had to say ... The place was very neat and clean and obviously they cater not only to infants , but older children as well , because of the props they have seen for pictorials , displayed on the shelves . Picture Perfect is prepared for newborn and infants . Diaper changing table was available , good height , width and length with a rubber mat Comfortable for the baby ( that my Mom said nice to get for use at our home ). Disposable pads were available that made it more hygienic . There was a bottle warmer for formula . There were sofas and coffee table near the changing table and sort of a stand up divider that gave privacy to the infant and photographer once photo shoot started . My mother and sister were also told to feel free to get food ( it was lunchtime ) if they want to and even suggested a place where they could buy sushi. Angela was nice and accommodating yet very clear with her rules and expectations from mothers , grandmas or anyone accompanying the infant. Once session started , she preferred that infant and she be given space , quite and privacy , so that she can focus with the different poses , angles and views she planned for the photos without distractions . Of course the accompanying person can take a peek on the baby in between sessions , to also know what is going on as briefly and as quietly as possible . She said the session could last an hour to an hour and a half and she was precise with this. Two times she asked for diapers bec Sebby needed changing and the baby was quite the whole time . All her suggestions of what preparations to make before coming to the studio, espy the feeding tips she made , should be followed , because that is the only way the photo shoot will go on as planned and succeed . She did it with our Sebby and I am happy with the unedited photos she sent to me for selections . Soon I will get the final photos and my family and I are all excited! In a scale of 1-10 , my mother gave it an almost perfect 9 . She love the place and the experience for the baby and she would surely recommend it to other parents for their precious babies and children , The only glitz , was the distance . It was quite far from our address at Parkchester in the Bronx. But she said , seeing the partial photos , Sebbyâs amazing poses , super cute and adorable were all...
