Last night i ordered through Door dash. After me raving about how amazing the food was when i was pregnant, i finally convince my family to try it. The food comes and as soon as you open the shrimp and crab Alfredo, it reeked. The crab and shrimp were spoiled on top on fresh pasta. The smell was so bad there was absolutely NO way the owner preparing this food didn’t smell it when packing it. The jerk & fried salmon was incredibly dry. It was just a terrible experience. I love to support black businesses but this was INCREDIBLY disgraceful. Just because it’s a food delivery service and someone can not physically come and see or smell the food, doesn’t mean that you serve it. I will never eat here again due to the lack of cleanliness. proper preparation, and quality of their care for their customers. Needless to say everyone else who i tried to convince are now turned off as well. A complete waste of money and time. Only for me to try to call the store from the number i ordered from and no answer. As soon as i called from another number they instantly answered, which leads me to believe they were aware that they gave me spoiled seafood. Thank God i didn’t eat it or feed any to my daughter. Have a little more dignity and class bout your establishment
I see that the owner has responded to me. However, your establishment ABSOLUTELY sent out spoiled seafood which is a major health hazard. I simply was calling back to make them aware (as if they couldn’t smell it😒) to be cautious of the seafood being old. However, they saw the number that was calling them and it was connected to the door dash receipt so they ignored my call. Once i called from a different number, the call was taken and as soon as i brought it to the employees attention, she hung up on me. As a owner, if you’re not there daily you do not know what’s being produced in the kitchen or the quality of food going out. And from reading many comments the staff are always rude. Just accept this as a learning lesson and do better. I didn’t even want a refund i was just disgusted and grateful that i didn’t eat it or feed it...
Read moreI decided to try this place since I saw their Instagram ad. The food looks so delicious, the establishment was clean and decent but as I was told " Don't judge a book by it's cover". I ordered my food at 6:12 and was not told there would be an insanely long wait time. After 30 minutes, if I did not inquire about the food then my food would never have been made. One worker had to go to tell the chef and write down the order. So the person who took my order was neglient and did not inform or remind the chef that my order was placed. I had 2 orders. My first came out 10 minutes later. The second took another 30 minutes. I had to inquire again. The worker faked like she was checking. If another worker didnt ask what i was waiting for then i probably would've been there ubtil closing time. Why when he looked he said " o your order is on the counter". He claimed he called out for it. There were barely any customers and there are so many orders and if your voice is barely above a whisper then how will I know it is mine and you're not even asking the customers? Seriously?!?! It took everything in me to not use more than a few choice words.
I will NEVER go back. The service was horrible, the food...not even worth the wait and trust I've been to Caribbean places worth waiting for. Also the delivery orders? Good luck with that. Your food will take 2 hours or more...

The older women serving are cool and customer friendly SOMEtimes. The younger women serving ALWAYS HAVE A STINKING ATTITUDE unless you're a Jamaican man with an accent, then they know to be friendly, but other than that THEY ARE ALWAYS RUDE with the teeth kissing and eye rolling and unnecessary mannerisms. I lowkey miss the guys that used to be working there. Their customer service was always up to par. The one light skin guy with glasses was always kind and friendly. But these young girls serving are the reason for the 2 star rating. Customer service is key and if you're going to be rude to the people patronizing your business then you should look into new staff, hire people that know to separate personal from business and treat EVERYONE with respect...
