On Halloween 2022, I picked up my son from school. Sunshine 5 is his classroom, and 7 kids were in the class. The teacher made Halloween masks for the kids and chose to make my son a ghost. I was highly upset. Who put a 2 years old child as a ghost? But if that wasn't bad enough, the two other black kids were also ghosts and monsters. The brown color kids were pumpkin, and one looked like a princess. That teacher in Sunshine 5 is racist. Everyone else can see how having all the black kids as monsters would seem problematic but her, and had the nerve to catch an attitude when i brought it to her attention. My son will not be attending this school anymore. I’m new to the school, but my daughter loves her teachers They always doing something fun in the classroom, the teachers on point with the information on regarding the school. well at least my teachers are on point ... but so far the teachers, staffs, social workers, are great.. the building is safe, secure & always clean love that, the kids love the classroom and the teachers the teachers take time teach and play with the kids I love that that the teachers make nap-time a blast for the kids so they don’t cry.. One problem I think they should work on the communication skills a little more.. but we do have meetings And all parents are welcome to express their feelings and share their thoughts which a lot of parents did and they’re working on the communication skills a lot more now...

My child has special needs and I was told the school isn’t right for her all though I went through all the enrollment and everything and was told they offer special education services. I personally never spoke with the special education teacher but was told my child isn’t able to thrive here. I was also asked personal questions and I just feel that I was discriminated against before my child even getting a chance to see what you all offer. Really nice school but...
