City of Bakerz LLC — Restaurant in New York

This company is a scam and not legit. I placed an order on their website for 6 dough balls. Upon checking out, it added a shipping rate of $20.00 bringing the total to $65.00. After placing my order, I received a paid invoice reflecting the above amount. Two days later, they attempted to add an additional shipping fee of $45.00. Any person can see that this falls under the protected Federal Trade Act for unfair or deceptive and illegal practices act. It was even more comical when telling City of Bakerz that I want the order cancelled given the above stated actions, they attempted to assess a "cancellation fee," also illegal. The above actions resulted in a disputed charge with the credit card company. They attempted to use a generic guideline and terms on their website. Remember this people. Just because they put something on their website, does not make it legally enforceable, true, ethical or legit. Any novice attorney would destroy these scammers in court. In closing, if you are a victim of theft from this company, use the available resources that are out there to protect you. These include disputing any unwarranted and unjust charges. They are put in place to help...

This company is a joke when it comes to e-commerce. Maybe they are fine in-store, but their online experience is awful. I ordered 22 doughs and they arrived late because they left shipping to the last minute. They selected next day saver shipping, which meant there was no Saturday delivery and no room for error. I received the dough in a Walmart box with packaging that had TWO ice packs that were hot. All the dough had exploded within the plastic bags, was all over the place, and had unfortunately gone bad.

Separately, as I was communicating with them about this issue with UPS, there was no effort on their side to make it right or to try to get the dough to me in time for when I needed it. They still had time on a Friday to ship something to me for Saturday delivery. All I can say is DO NOT order from this company. Don't fall for the reviews...

I stumbled upon this gem online while searching for grande mozzarella as they do not have this locally on the West Coast. After further research, I decided to purchase from city of Bakerz every time I have ordered, my shipment has come exactly as described. Most recently I ordered my usual grand mozzarella, and they had a new item which was an imported flower for making New York style pizza directly from Italy. As someone who knows about quality dough, I was very eager and excited to try this new dough. I am pleased to announce that this dough is my new go to and will continue to purchase this for making New York style pizza for my family and friends. while I have not been to this warehouse, I can say with authority that this is a great solution for getting your Italian products for your New York style pizza!...
