Cityview Rooftop Lounge & Event Space — Restaurant in New York

I held my graduation celebration here with the help of Joe, Dan, Jennifer, Tara, and other staff! I could not have asked for a such a caring and just as excited staff to help me throughout the process of my celebration. They set me up with tables and a whole tent on the rooftop deck as it was raining, but were very accommodating and let my party of 40 sit inside when the rain and wind picked up. They helped ease my nerves as I am an introvert and I was hosting my own grad party and I couldn’t be more grateful for them. Not just was their service amazing and wonderful, but their food was just as amazing! I came here even before my celebration just to try out the food as a regular customer and I’ve never been more impressed. Me and my boyfriend ordered PLAIN chicken with some sauce at the side, prosciutto pizza, and ceviche. I may only be 25, but i’ve had my fair share of tasting all kinds of foods. When I tell you that each dish exceeded my expectations, it very well did. I talked to Joe about his catering services and he definitely knew what he was talking about in terms of making delicious foods and running his own business. I put 100% of my trust in them and they took care of it. My graduation celebration went amazing and they even set up my dessert table for me! When they wheeled it out all I heard were ‘wows’, ‘oh my gosh’, ‘that’s beautiful’, how did they do that’, all from my guests and I agree, how did they do that?! They did a phenomenal job, I gave them the supplies I had to decorate and set up and all I had to do was show up! My friends and family that attended all were in agreeance that the food was delicious and that they had a wonderful time. We recently celebrated my daughter's Sweet 16 at Cityview Rooftop and Lounge, and it was amazing! Tucked away in College Point, Queens, this place is a real hidden gem. We couldn't have picked a better spot to kick off summer with a birthday bash.

Inside, they've got a cool bar area with plenty of tables, all surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows. It gives the place a bright, open feel, and the view from the outdoor deck is just wow. On one side, you see the Manhattan skyline, and on the other, the Whitestone bridge. Watching the sunset and seeing the city lights at night made everything so magical.

The staff was fantastic. Joe, the owner, was super helpful with setup tips and had a great eye for detail. Communication was a breeze with Susanne; she's so sweet and quick to respond. On the night, the bartenders and everyone were friendly and kept the good vibes going. Shout out to Jennifer, who was also super sweet and made sure everything ran smoothly.

We went with Joe's catering company for food, and it was a great choice. The food was delicious and a hit with our guests. (Mini crab cakes for appetizer was out of this world!)

City View in College Point is truly a hidden gem! Located inside of a luxurious hotel surrounded by upscale eateries and a secure parking lot makes this an even more exciting experience. The crowd is diverse and ever changing. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming, bartenders and servers extremely friendly, chef came out to greet us, and staff even helped us get gorgeous photos atop the spacious roof.
