Came her with my picky parents tonight. I was praying dad and mom would behave, as they can be highly critical regarding food...lol. We ordered a seafood stew ( Casuela de Mariscos), plantains with cheese (Bolon de queso) and a chicken soup. We all loved the food; was flavorful and not too salty. We also ordered a mojito, margarita, and a virgin piña colada. All drinks tasted just right. My mojito and margarita had just the right amount of liquor and not watered down like other places. We will definitely be coming back here. So glad we now have delicious Ecuadorian food options in College Point. Their menu has the Ecuadorian dishes on the back side. This restaurant has both Mexican and Ecuadorian food options. Oh and the staff is warm, welcoming, and friendly.

The good: chiles rellenos was good and filling. Also their complimentary nachos tasted fresh and homemade, not store bought. Salsa could do with more spice. Refill on complimentary nachos was appreciated. Service was nice and attentive. Meh: I ordered a corona michelada. They ran out of the seasoning to make the drink and told me about it. They basically brought me a corona with lime in a salt rimmed glass. I’d expected this but they charged me for a michelada instead of a corona. Rice and beans were bland. Friend had the tacos Al Cabron, said it lacked flavor. It looked rather sad too. Overall, meal was enjoyable because I had the chiles rellenos and would only order this entree from here.

When we walked in, the lady took my umbrella, and I almost forgot it. She wouldn’t allow me to take it to my seat. Then we sat down and it took half an hour just for them to get our drinks. They never brought us water and they don’t bring anything out to the table. The restaurant was empty so there was no reason for them not to give us water. They brought out the appetizers and we still did not have our drinks. The guacamole lacked flavor. The ceviche was made with a sauce which I’ve never seen before. They didn’t have chimichurri sauce for the steak which was burnt. My sister‘s steak was also burnt. It took almost two hours to get our food. We did not stay for dessert.

This restaurant has a good location and good foods, but very bad management. Be careful before you go there, because they robbing customers.

I like fajitas of this place and always go there with friends to eat. We never looked at the check in details. Just paid whatever they asked.

But last night. I went with a friend, he doesn’t wanted eat any thing, so I just asked for mix fajita and a soda.

I gave the survey my credit card to charge. He came with a receipt of $36.10. I got surprised that how it can be $36. When asked for breakdown.

He gave me a check which shows $1.08 service fee and then $5.62 (20%) gratuity was added automatically.

It was very upsetting. I asked the server what’s service fee and why 20% gratuity is added for one person? He had no answer.

I like to pay tips, but I want write it on my pen. Some restaurants add automatic gratuity when guests are more than four people. But I never seen some thing like this for one person.

I’m so upset and will never go to this...

I had previously posted an exciting review about how much I loved everything about this place. We came here for mother's day and I said how much I couldn't wait to come back. How the tables have turned... Upside down too! We came today for father's day expecting the same level of overall service from last time it was like day and night. The waitress was in a foul mood for whatever reason, the music was super loud to the point where we couldn't hear each other talk, food was subpar (and overcooked too) and, flavorless. This is the last time I am coming here with my family because on top of everything I've described above, it took them 1hr to bring out the food when we room had 4 miserable tables here. What where they doing? Anyway, enough ranting. This place is overpriced anyway so I DO NOT recommend it at all to anyone, not even my worst enemy Save yourself the trouble and get tacos from your...
