
I only gave these fields one star because I can't give it no stars. I was appalled at the condition that these fields; obviously not maintained in months or perhaps longer, to be sure. As a ex-baseball player I don't know how these young men could even have any kind of a good time while playing on these fields. In places the grass is a foot high. There are little trees and bushes in the Outfield. There are holes all around home plate area. The pitcher's mound is so eroded that the rubber is a piece of concrete sticking up about 3 inches above the earth; a seriously dangerous situation. I listened to the players and the Umpires as they discussed as to whether this was the worst field they had ever played on. Whoever is responsible for maintaining these fields whether it be the city of New York or a private concern, should be embarrassed. This is a disgrace and people should not be subject to conditions as this while trying to have some fun on a Sunday afternoon. People responsible need to get their act together;...
Read moreI come here to bring the kids for their soccer classes during the weekends. The feud is Astroturf and flat so that’s perfect for a soccer game. It does get crowded because there are teams who rented the soccer field for a set amount of time and parking can’t be tough, but, you can find spots around the park or maybe you can get lucky and park inside a parking area.
