I've ordered from Common Good in Harlem four times, and while the food was great three of those times, my last experience was very disappointing and concerning. I ordered a croissant breakfast sandwich, and when I took a bite, I couldn't even bite through it. Upon opening the sandwich, I discovered a piece of waxy plastic paper cooked into the cheese and embedded in the sandwich.
I immediately called the manager, and his suggestion was to send me another sandwich. As a chef myself, I found this unacceptable since this is a serious safety issue. If my son had bitten into it on his own, he could have choked or something worse could have happened.

Read moreCommon Good Harlem is a hidden gem that I'm thrilled to have discovered! Stepping inside feels like entering a cozy oasis, with friendly faces and a welcoming vibe. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. I'm particularly fond of the plush chairs at the front – the perfect spot to unwind with a book or catch up on some work. And their bagel with cream cheese and smashed avocado? Absolutely addictive! (they even toast it just the way I like it) With prices that won't break the bank, Common Good has quickly become my favorite gem in the neighborhood. Can't wait to cozy up here...

Maybe, they can take care of these little things. The service was good and the people were very friendly. Would recommend going...
