Convent Garden — Attraction in New York

It's always closed. It seems to be run by one person with a key who comes by 3 times a year with the relatives. It was incredibly well planted but over the years it has become cluttered with plastic lawn furniture, electricity rigged illegally and unsafely by tapping into the lamp post, and other. Back when the neighborhood still had bullets flyinf it was a gem and an island of civilization. Now it's simply look don't touch. The city should take it back clear away all the trashy clutter and unlock the fence during the day, everyday. It's not private property but the family with the key treats it that way, and I don't think they still live in the neighborhood as they are...

Very beautiful and well manicured, at least from what I can see from outside the gates because it's usually never open. One day it was open and the ppl there seem uninviting / approachable, as if it was a private / "secret" garden that they can only enjoy or fix up, one lady appear to give the "lock" of "no entry", so I didn't feel welcomed to go in, even just for a moment just to admire the hard work that was done to make the garden so beautiful.
