This park being designated as an historical park is clearly underserved. The indoor facilities and programs have been updated to accommodate the influx of yuppies and the existing residents. But the renovations of the bathrooms are null and void. What is the historical society and planning commission doing about this matter. Is this a gloss over or what. If you'd like to go, remember to bring the following : A lock Your shower or water shoes Towel Your own water bottle. Bags are not allowed in the pool area. Staff can be cranky when it's time to clear out. Showers are available but leave enough time to use them at the end of your visit if you choose to use them. The staff will rush you to leave as they want to go on their break around 2:50pm when the first session ends. They are explicit about this no matter if you are with a brood of kids, a few adult friends or solo. Pool opens daily, as per the security...

It’s best for relaxing , hanging out with residents neighbors and sometimes a little BBQ picnic. Mr Softies ice cream trunk occasionally passed by with sweets treats...
