Deli Stop Shop Mart — Restaurant in New York

I don't know if management has changed but the level of service has dropped significantly. The new, young staff are non customer service focused. They are actually rude. The fresh cookies were made daily, now the case is always riddled with crumbs and broken cookies. My husband and I used to visit at least 3 times a day for the oatmeal and raisin and chocolate chip cookies. They would be fresh and tasty. Now we barely go in because they never have the cookies stocked. They so have a wide variety of beverages. Cases of cold coffee, juices, a wide variety of waters and snacks and even a small grocery section. They're open all night and they have a grill and they make smoothies and juices. Countless times i have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. Don't get me wrong, the owners are great, but the people that work behind the counters are absolute idiots. i have experienced at least 5 times where ive texted my order, only to find out 30 minutes later the food isn't ready, and the text was never read. Great for north Bronx residents. A wide variety of snacks & beverages just like the delis shops in Manhattan & Brooklyn. They even have SPINACH 😮 for crying out loud. Though I was seeing if they had arugula (being extra) Lol. Philly cheesesteaks, chicken cutlet sandwiches and salad are made to perfection. Reason for the 4 stars only b/c vegetable display should be a tad bit fresher looking though folks at times don’t bother with salads or garnishing foods with veggies. All good in my book overall.
