From the moment you enter Nefer, it is like bingo, I have just discovered El Dorado!

The selection of books is thoughtfully curated, with a strong focus on Black authors, history, and empowerment—which makes it so much more than just a bookstore.

The café section is equally impressive. Whether you’re grabbing a coffee, tea, or a small bite, everything is served with care and intention. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. It’s clear this space was created to nourish both the mind and spirit.

My team and I stop by this book Cafe at least twice a week, sometimes twice in a day—and the truth is, I think I’m addicted. Every specialty drink I’ve tried is so good it should come with a warning label. I originally came to support their business, but now I can’t because I’m too busy supporting my caffeine habit. 😂
