El Jobo — Restaurant in New York

The food is good but when I order online I get a certain price and sometimes like the last time I was just in there tonight they overcharge me I don’t know why the ladies do that if they get to keep a couple dollars but little stuff like that will make me not him on money there anymore so that’s the last time I go there also day you’re a very disorganized so I was sitting there for like 15 minutes I knew my food was ready cause I could see it on the counter but nobody else knew for me and I don’t work there so I could’ve made a big scene about the dollars that she stole from me basically but instead I just decided to leave a review so maybe management could be aware that the women are taking money from the customers this is not the first time they’ve done this to me they don’t know that I told her all the time there so they think I’m like New person and then they rob me basically I let it happen because I figured they must need the money badly but still a no it’s not OK and I won’t be spend my money there any longer enjoy the food is not better but be sure to count to change and check the menu because they were overcharged you if no one is there watching over there so this for instants I ordered three shrimp patties but the Leo’s and there usually $3.95 but she charge me five dollars for each so she could pocket three dollars which is some crackhead sh!!t Like who steals three dollars from a customer that spends $30 or more whenever she comes in it was the lady with the heavy make up on her eyes looking like a...

When placing my order, I imagined good food. What I got was far from it. First the delivery person tried to take all of my money and run. Had to grab him and make him show me the receipt. The food looked okay. After I paid the man the appropriate amount of money, he literally ran off. Got upstairs and started sharing plates for my kids and I. The food looked fine. Smelled normal. Sat down with my plate; bit into a piece of chicken and.... nothing. There was no flavor. And it was undercooked. Thinking this was maybe a mistake, I took a different bite. Overcooked. the chicken was both over and under cooked in places.

Moving from that to the rice. Absolutely bland, just like the chicken. The beans were the same and more like they poured lukewarm water over some beans. I eyeballed the so called salad, the lettuce was half rotten and smelled like it hadn't been washed. The lemon wedges they gave with the chicken was also used and soaked in lime juice. I know this because the pulp was all busted and it tasted like lemon and lime.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Do not buy anything that they put their hands in. The only good thing about this meal was the soda. I ended up wasting money, the children also didn't like what was going on in the plates. Threw it all put and got Chinese.

Stay away from this place and stick with your favorite Chinese food...

I ordered the goat with rice and beans. The goat was all bones and no meat. I called the restaurant to complain about the goat; they said they only recalled giving me one big bone. Why would you give me that? They then blamed me for them giving me the goat with no meat on it because I should’ve have seen that it was all bone in the first place. My fault for thinking I was going to actually get meat!?

Anyway, their customer service was terrible. The woman I spoke to had a bad attitude. After going back and forth they told me to bring back the plate, which I did. When I got there the woman snatched my plate out of my hand with aggression and slammed the plate on the table. Picked out the bone and asked me where was the meat? I explained to her, just like I did on the phone, that I tried to get as much of the little meat possible off of the bone and how I was unsatisfied with the meal. She then proceeded to the cash register and handed me my money back.

Will never go back...
