El Patio Lounge Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in New York

To be honest. I live a 7 minute walk down 👇 The Street 3 short blocks and I walk fast. I remember when it was closed 🔐 just for like 1 to 2 months tops and then it said El patio lounge grand opening. My friend is the head of the SECURITY DETAIL.... I went there late at night, around 1 a.m., and was honestly surprised by how good everything was. The food tasted like real Dominican home cooking, full of flavor and very authentic. The staff was extremely welcoming and attentive, which made the experience even better.

The place has been renovated recently, so it looks much nicer than in the older photos. Drinks were excellent, and on weekends they also have theme parties, which add a fun vibe.

Overall, I definitely recommend trying this...

Music was unacceptably loud for a bar where everyone was sitting down... Also the waitress got our drink order completely wrong and acted like we were wrong when we said we didn't want what she brought (to be clear, we ordered 3 shots of Fireball, and she brought us 3 Coronas) - not fun to...
